My first time seeing Dr Mintzer and I really liked him. He explained things in great detail regarding my issues and spent plenty of time making sure all of my questions were answered.

Dr. Mintzer was my provider when I was admitted to the hospital last week, and I am so grateful for his care! Him and two nurses were the only reason my hospital stay was bearable. They truly seemed liked they cared and wanted to find a reason for my illness. Other doctors in his practice are awful, especially one other in particular. Dr. Mintzer was the only one who seems to have bedside manner and compassion with patients. Thank you Dr. Mintzer

I can't imagine the delivery of my son with anyone else. I was lucky enough to see Dr. Mintzer for every appointment and my delivery. Since it was a scheduled C-Section it was helpful to know he was there throughout the whole process and knew my records. He answered any and all questions I had and treated me as a unique person not a run of the mill. He really does go out of his way for his patients. I look forward to him delivering our second in the near future (hopefully).

Dr Mintzer provided excellent care when I was pregnant with my daughter. I drive an hour and a half to come to his office. He listens, explains everything in detail, and makes sure that all your questions are answered. I moved to Washington state last year and recently delivered my second baby. The care i received here does not compare to what inreceived under Dr Mintzers care.

He is the best OB in Des Moines and I have been to so many. He is respectful and kind. Open to listening and respecting the patients wishes. He is really smart and is knowledgeable without being full of himself. He is not overly cautious but knows when to move fast. The first time I met him he spent 45 minutes with me. Who does that??? I do not care for some of the other doctors in his group. He doesn't special clients, so you get whomever is on call.
