Horrible beside manner. My client was actually asking a question and he just decided he was done and walked out. We weren't in their for 5 minutes. Arrogant and rude. We canceled the follow up appt.

Walked in for a consultation. Left by ambulance because of excessive bleeding from my urethra. I will never allow Dr. Oefelein to touch me again and will never refer anyone to him.

I have had several chances to see this doctor through medicare and backed out both times due to his rudeness and unprofessional attitude and his temper. I will never even consider him again at any time and I will also be reporting him to the Medical Board. I would highly recommend you try to find a different Doctor as there are a lot of other Urologist in Bakersfield that are by far better.

Staff is amazing, efficient and answered all of my many questions. I felt doctor was very personable and very good at what he does. Good listener and made sure all my questions were answered too. Office runs on time which is a definite plus. Would highly recommend

DR. Oefelein has been the DR. that has been keeping an eye on my kidneys and if I get stones he is the one that has removed them many times successfully. I totally trust him and would recommend him to any one .

The staff was friendly but this doctor never explain nothing to me and he yelled at me as if I was a slave in the 1800s this doctor has a problem someone will get hurt with his ruling mouth and unprofessional manner

Staff was friendly but i was under the impression that a vasectomy was one, quarter inch incision. I had two inch long incisions and the sutures looked horrible. One was wrapped around itself and i ended up with a purple bubble that was very concerning for a few weeks. The other split open 3 days after. I has to butterfly stitch my scrotum together. Serious pain for the weeks. Not worth the risk. Do not go through what i did. Look elsewhere for treatment.

My son went in the mercy hospital today and it was an emergency according to the doctor . She had to consult with this man here . I was not there bc I was sick . My son was having issues with his private parts and this man came in didn’t even introduce himself to my husband he fist bumped him and then started digging his fingers in my child’s private parts . My child was screaming . This doctor didn’t even explain what was going to happen my husband said stop what’s going on he said look I have 20 min so we either do this now or your going to have to wait 4 hours for surgery . He finally got lidocaine after a nurse suggested . This man should not be in practice my 5 year old came home terrified of doctors because of this man

We are fortunate to have Dr. Oefelein in Bakersfield. If you are in need of a urologist you must do yourself a favor and make an appointment with him. If it makes you uncomfortable talking about erectile dysfunction don't be. He will help you. What have you got to lose you can only go up .

Called several times never got a person only voice mail, left messages to schedule appointment never got a call back.

Dr. Oefelein is very knowledgeable in his field and is quite skilled. He has a warm, kind manner and is genuinely concerned about his patients. He has a pleasant demeanor and a balanced sense of humor which helps his patients to be able to relax, gain his confidence and trust. He is respectful towards his patients and their families and his office staff.

As a result of suffering severe pain from kidney stones, I was referred to Dr. Oefelein. The staff at his office was highly efficient. I was sent all necessary forms to my I Phone and print them at home. After filling them out, I was greeted by Monique. She was very patient, helpful, and professional. I was quickly called to the nurse station and escorted to the exam room. I was immediately impressed by the doctor's deameaner. He conducted a thorough exam and began a treatment plan.

He was friendly and understanding with my frustration and after he did my surgery he made sure that I had the necessary pain relief, which I was grateful.
