Doesn't visit patient and sends a nurse
You would think something as important as a transplant would require a physician to actually visit the patient, but instead - as others have indicated, he sends a nurse. He also makes broad based assumptions about a patient's potential future behaviours and outcomes without meeting with the patient or their family/support team/care givers. This doctor should not be part of the transplant evaluation committee at AGH.

Disappointed in his care for my mother during her last stay in the hospital. Never physically came to see her..sent his P.A. instead. Ignored family’s wishes regarding her medications and sadly caused her undue suffering during her last days with us. Family believed if he had seen her he may have understood her condition better and she wouldn’t have experienced more suffering.

My experience with him was not good. He never saw my mother in person during her hospital stay. He sent me text messages regarding her care or sent his nurses to see her. I was very disheartened by this as it caused more suffering for my mother and her family.
