A follow up visit last week.
I've been a client of Dr. Shapiro's for more than 10 years. He's very professional, very client friendly, very caring, never in a rush. He takes his time in discussion and reviewing medical records and does very thorough follow up.I would recommend him to everyone who needs a pulmonologist.

Dr. Shapiro is awesome!
Today was my first visit with Dr. Shapiro. He spent a gracious amount of time with me to understand my symptoms from a somewhat rare autoimmune condition. He demonstrated sincere compassion and was clearly very knowledgeable about my disease and its effect on pulmonary function. He immediately set out a plan for treatment and additional testing. He explained everything very clearly to me and my wife, pausing for questions and also explaining the rationale for each part of the treatment plan. Dr. Shapiro is highly regarded in the central Texas medical community, and now I see first hand why that is. My neurologist who referred me to this practice, was extremely pleased to hear that Dr. Shapiro would be treating me. I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro, especially for treating complex and rare autoimmune conditions and neuro pulmonary issues. This review only provides up to a 5 star rating, otherwise I would certainly give him more! Thank you Dr. Shapiro and Chris (his assistant)!

Very Unprofessional
I was referred to Dr Shapiro for several tests. I went through a sleep study, swallow study and blood work and his office stated that he will not see me and even though my insurance paid for all these tests, I cannot get the results.
