My brother has been a patient of D. Torelli's for many years...he has a multitude of medical issues and I realize Dr. Torelli is not a critical care doctor but I certainly would have expected more...my brother went for follow-up lab work after being discharged from the hospital. His labs came back on the portal. His liver enzymes were critical. so critical that was then admitted to Stony Brook in liver failure. We still have NOT received any communication from the office. If we did not have the portal, we would not have known to go to the ER... What a huge disappointment.

I'm very picky about doctors, and come from a family full of medical providers, so I know a thing or two regarding my treatment by them. That being said, he's the best doctor I've ever had. He was extremely insightful regarding my treatment, jovial manner, his assistant was wonderful as well. Listening skills were superior to most, there was patience and consideration, I felt taken seriously and understood. Office staff was polite, friendly, and efficient. The waiting area and rooms were clean, and well-organized. Not sure what that other reviewer is talking about with all those negatives, they were probably angry due to being an unreasonable person(or if I'm being understanding, maybe just had some stuff going on in life and were already upset), and delusionally perceived everything as negative. Had such a good experience, switched over to him as my primary care provider. 10/10 would recommend highly

Dirty office and rude receptionists. Billing s a total joke all they say is pay, pay, pay even when your insurance covers it. Also want to charge you two times for drawing blood in office and then you receive a full charge from lab also. Stay Far Away!
