I became a patient of Dr. Werner over 3 yrs ago. I'm now 61 yrs old & needed a new pain Dr after retiring and moving to PA from NYC. I would see Dr Werner every 6 months for knee joint lubricant injections but this would only be a temporary repair. I had so much pain in my left knee that I knew it was time for something else. Dr Werner performed a full knee replacement and I have been almost totally pain free. I'm a little overweight still but after 3 months of therapy my new knee is really feeling great. I pretty sure I'll be ready for surgery my other Knee next year. Thanks Dr. Werner. (David Sims/Camp Hill)

More like visits. First visit was referral from family doctor for pain in right knee that was not helped with physical therapy and injections. That knee was operated on and within 6 weeks I was feeling ready to tackle more strenuous activity. Unfortunately the left knee decided at that time to deteriorate (in spite of ongoing physical therapy on both right and left knees) at a rapid pace. Actually glad it forced the issue of going back to Dr. Werner and scheduling the right knee. As soon as I was scheduled I started the exercises recommended. As soon as I got home from surgery I started to receive home PT for two weeks, then started outpatient PT. By the end of two weeks I was using a cane. About a week later I was walking much of the tie without the cane. The combination of Dr. Werner's surgery, the support received from his support staff, the support received by the home PT person and the great outpatient physical therapy I received resulted in a great recovery.

Had an accident 2 years ago (pain started coming back 2 mo ago) had an appt. He listens and gives you options you have. MRI only showed slightly torn ligament. When he opened me up I had reconstruction of tendons and ligaments. Cast 3wks, airboot 2weeks, now stabilizer brace. A++ would definitely recommend! Amazing doctor! Thank you

I Drove an hour . I was having Acute pain and he said with a shot and Physical Therapy he could get me back to my normal . He said I just had arthritis . I looked at him in dis belief because I know what arthritis pain feels like. I went along with his plan. No change in pain and no improvement after many sessions. He had no other suggestions. I went to another Dr. Who took additional x-rays and found 2 spurs that were jabbing my joint and causing the acute pain . Surgery is needed and welcomed

Dr. Werner spends very little time with his patients. He told me the post surgical pain much less than it actually was. The final straw for me was when I went back to see him two years post surgery for another problem with the same foot he walked into the room and said "Hello it's nice to meet you". Which means he didn't bother to look at my charts before he came in.

This is the worst doctors office I've ever been to. Nobody follows through on anything. I would cut the staff in half, fire everyone and hire all new employees that actually work. Don't go there unless you like being frustrated and like having to call back over and over only to be told that your referral has been scheduled just to find out nothing has been done 20 days later. I have been on the phone with them 7 different times. Also don't expect to call and get a live person.
