Polyclinic has gone downhill
This doctor's office has never called with a reminder for appointments and the imaging team has failed to reach out to schedule procedures, thus forcing appointments to be cancelled. Unfortunately there is a horrific shortage of Endocrinologists, so may be stuck at Polyclinic for now.

Dr.Williams is a great doctor. I love his attitude and enthusiasm for his job. I came to him three years prior for a huge keloid on my ear and he gave me the best treatment he could. When I felt like it was reoccurring I made sure to come back to him and he scheduled me to come in three days later so there was no long wait and no hassle getting started on my next treatment. Now my keloid is no longer on my ear and even after surgery he was still able to keep my original ear shape. You can tell this man cares about each and everyone of his patients because it shows in his work. I recommend Dr.Williams to everyone because while you are receiving help you are also gaining a friend.

Dr Williams explains things in great detail. He investigates thoroughly. He is not very personable, and I guess a little, how shall I say, "different". He doesn't show any emotion, is very robotic, maybe he is slightly autistic or something, but that doesn't matter as he seems very knowledible. His office however is flat out incompetent. Over a week and still haven't gotten documentation to my insurance for my prescription!

I was referred to Dr. Williams on the recommendation of a surgeon I would meet later. Williams was step #1 to a surgery. After surgery I was returned to Dr. Williams. I have been going to him ever since (over five years now). I am more than grateful to him and his support group. Every detail is covered well in visits, always easy to schedule, and on time. Insurance codes are always correct. Can't imagine how or where I could find better care. MyChart is a real plus and Dr. Williams does respond.

Why I recommend him: He is very good at educating and answering questions. He does a thorough investigation. He spends an appropriate amount of time with you. He responds to emails through the patient portal promptly. However, he does book out probably 4 weeks out for follow-ups.

Dr. seemed to have a script that he adhered to relentlessly. He was earnest in his inclusion of specific details which were included more than once. I felt less like a patient and more like a student.

No coordination of care at all. I've never had a refill called in on the first request (last one took 3 calls/1wk). They never had the correct lab orders submitted-not once. Each endocrinology issue requires a separate visit. The care team does the absolute minimum each time a patient is seen and the doctor doesn't even know what his own nurse is prescribing. They are in the business of referring patients out for things other endocrinologists normally treated. Don't waste your time.
