This doctor barely looked at me for my annual physical. I had to direct the entire visit. When discussing medication another MD prescribed for me, she scared me so much that I called the other MD from the parking lot. The prescribing MD actually gave me statistics on the medication that I was on that I could research to prove it was not detrimental to me. I had to get my bloodwork tested at an outside facility because their computers were down the day of my visit. When she received my results, I was told by the nurse over the phone that she had reviewed them and she said everything “was fine”. I asked about a specific blood test for something I was being prescribed medication for by her. After the nurse reviewed the test results, she found this specific test had not even been performed. Again, it was up to me to be proactive and ask about specific tests regarding prescription medication. I am not a doctor and I don’t want to have to direct my own care. I’m looking for a new PCP.
