Wonderful experience
Dr Louie performed my laparoscopic myomectomy to remove a uterine fibroid as well as stage 3 endometriosis. She was very knowledgeable and confident during our first consultation. She answered all my questions, took her time and made me feel heard. My surgery went amazing! She called me a few days after to check in. I recovered well and when any questions would arise I would message her. She was always responsive. I highly recommended Dr Louie! She is wonderful. I made a full recovery and am now pregnant 1 year later.

The Epitome of a Well-Rounded Physician
In Short, Dr. Louie makes you feel seen. In detail, Dr. Louie recognized me from an ethological POV. As an AA woman, I couldn't have been more grateful for her to educate and prepare me for the myomectomy procedure, in the of Summer 2021. She was my 3rd OB/GYN I had met, and neither of the 2 spoke to me at a level of comprehension as Dr. Louie. I felt confident going into the procedure. I left her office feeling like a new woman Post-Op. She and the UNC team (from the nurses to anesthesiologist) are exceptional professionals! And every year, I stop and think of Dr. Louie and her professionalism, and how grateful I am of her.

Hysterectomy
Dr. Louie was amazing! I had a full hysterectomy done by her, which turned out to be more than expected once the surgery started. She remembered all of my concerns and took that into consideration throughout the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Louie, I told a friend I’m forever grateful for Dr. Louie and in many ways she saved me. Amazing doctor, who I cannot thank enough.

Great Surgical Care
Dr. Louie was my surgeon for a complicated procedure and I am so thankful for her expertise and care. She was able to do a minimally invasive procedure that has saved me healing time and stress on my body. She took time to explain everything to me, answered all my questions and is available to her patients via the portal. I found her professional and personable. I would recommend highly recommend this surgeon.
