This doctor is very rude and doesn’t treat her patients well and with respect would not recommend to anyone

I have had a good experience with Dr Trask-Batti. She has listened to me, encouraged me to make changes and provided the right referrals when needed. Her office has been helpful and the use of the portal makes things easy. I recommend her to women especially.

When I chose Dr. Trask, I had high hopes, as she was new & armed with the most up to date knowledge. However, this was far from the case. Whenever I presented even the most minuscule problem to her, I was immediately referred to someone else, as she will not practice medicine. She has no empathy or bedside manner. When I spoke about how a person she referred me to spoke so rudely & unprofessionally they made me cry, she never once apologized on their behalf or at least acted like she cared. Knowing I have severe reactions to many new medications, she still took me off the medication that I had taken for years, then continually had me try new meds, knowing there was a high probability of a deadly reaction. I was never offered a non-medication alternative. It’s sad she treats all patients with the one-size fits all mind set. I would not recommend her to people that are on any medications, have any health problems, or who wants a Doctor who genuinely cares about their wellbeing.

This New Graduate Physician, has practiced for 1 year now, and she’s no better at it, than when she first started. This Doc fails patients Daily, and she actually enjoys wielding Punishments on her patients…as I’m a Professional Witness to 2 of them. She’s terrified to actually practice Medicine…she wants to give Everyone a Referral (The Problem being, that she gets Referral names from her untrained staff, as to who they’d recommend…because she has zero experience in Hilo…so Good Luck with that. She wants to Teach, and she will tell you…just that. Don’t try to tell her any problems or symptoms when you’re in…she’ll get quite angry and Will tell you she “Can’t Handle” that you’re taking away from her teaching time. This Physician has actually withheld life helping PTSD Meds, because she’s, “Just not comfortable prescribing them”. As for me and mine—we’ll be looking for a Family PRACTICE who Isn’t AFRAID to Practice Medicine!! Best advice Dr. Trask—Quit Practicing and Teach!!

She is knowledgeable and friendly however we were the right fit. She is very controlling and forced me to do something her way or else for something so small. Staff not very timely in returning calls and takes days. While she may be knowledgeable I feel she lacks in truly understanding what the patient is going through. There’s more I could say however I will end this find a more experience Dr and save yourself the stress and hassle

Dr.Mililani Trask-Batti is a very good doctor understands your problems and helps you out 100% and solve your health problems. I recommend her to anyone that needs a pcp.
