Dr. Millard Thaler, MD

There are doctors with medical training and a degree and then there is a doctor like Dr. Thaler who is a true patient advocate. From my very first visit it was evident my well-being his priority. Dr. Thaler was highly recommended to me and he has exceeded everyone one of my expectations with his kindness, thoroughness, expertise, and care. I have had the honor of recommending him to others on numerous occasions, so complete is my trust and confidence in him. In addition, he has carefully selected a team that shares his commitment to his patients. I cannot not speak highly enough of the peace of mind I now have with Dr. Thaler overseeing my care.

I went to see this Dr for female hair loss. I have to be honest I was hesitant to go see an older male doctor about my issue but I really feel he listened to me, took time to spend with me and answered questions. I also thought his assistant was very personable. You do have to submit your paperwork to them 48 hours prior to your appt which is kind of a pain.

The Dr. is nice enough and competent but because the office staff is horrible and rude I would look to an office with many more reviews and higher ratings. I had been to this office 12 years ago and the wait times were horrible. I returned and made sure if the Dr. was running late I would be running late. We are all professionals and our time is valuable. The billing staff and office manager could not be at best be considered rude at worst verbally offensive and scary.

Has an excellent staff, for Dr. Thaler himself, he needs to retire. No bedside manner and a simple procedure turned into a nightmare. The ear was never cleaned after surgery or after the sutures were removed leading to a severe infection of the ear. Much more severe than a skin infection causing several weeks of treatment.

Seriously, A-MAZING bed side manner and so kind and sensitive to very uncomfortable situations/procedures. Thorough and precise.

We have been coming to Dr. Thaler at Papillon Dermatology for over 10 years. I have had two surgeries (back and face) over the course of the years, and am very happy with the outcomes. Dr. Thaler is an extremely talented surgeon and maintains a proper operating theater with the most modern equipment. Dr. Thaler is an expert in Mohs surgery, and operates with the highest degree of precision. I had major work done on the middle of my face and people I meet could never tell. Great staff, too!
