Dr. Monisola Oni, MD

She's a no nonsense doctor that doesn't pull punches when it comes to telling you what you need to do to better your health, which I know a lot of us patients could use. She is not comfortable with prescribing certain medications in the way of mental disorders (depression, ADHD, etc), even with official psychiatric diagnosis. What ended up being a dealbreaker for me with Doctor Oni is that she was not understanding of my financial situation or my discomfort about having certain procedures done. Even after stating multiple times I couldn't afford something after she had me visit her twice and have bloodwork done in the span of a month, she said I kept using it as an excuse and that she didn't want to hear it anymore. I suffer from multiple mental disabilities and she didn't seem to take any of them into mind during our interactions. I want to be able to trust my doctor and vice versa, and that broke my trust.

Horrible service. The front staff was extremely rude and cut throat. I went late since I’m not from the Cocoa area and there was an accident on the highway. I called and let them know of the situation. When I got there, the place was empty and they refused to see my son. Horrible experience. I would never go there or even put my son in that position ever again. They do not care about patients. The front staff lacked of empathy and had actitudes that were not professional at all. Like if she was ready for a street fight just because I made the comment if they could do an exception since the place was empty and this was out of my control. Never again. I am a human being and patients need to be treated with respect and dignity. Shame on them.

Dr. Oni's care sharply contrasts the expected standards of medical professionalism and patient attention. Despite clear evidence of my deteriorating health, she consistently dismissed my concerns, refused essential tests, and ignored critical symptoms, leading to significant setbacks in both my physical and mental well-being. Her conduct during consultations varied unpredictably and she did not provide necessary support. Worse, she falsified an account of our interaction in my medical record, a betrayal of trust that underscores a disturbing lack of ethics. The direct consequences of her neglect include severe physical debilitation. This experience has not only compromised my health further but left me in a dire state, searching for care elsewhere. Prospective patients should approach with caution; the neglect I faced under Dr. Oni's care is a stark reminder of the importance of empathy and professionalism in healthcare.

Never looked me in the face just looked at the computer. Never checked me out just ordered more tests on the computer. Seen two times not to professional!!

Dr. Oni is very thorough and personable. She takes time to ask questions and she listens to me.

I was very impressed with my initial check up. Dr Oni put me at ease knowing she cared about me and my health issues. She provided referrals and examinations to determine my health needs and a path for my treatment. I am confident that Dr Oni will provide the best health care for me.

Had to get #'s for specialist

Dr. Oni is extremely helpful and understanding. She takes time to listen to her patient and meet their needs in a timely and professional manner.

I had to change PCP. I met with Dr Oni and found her to be very pleasant. She took time to go over my records and address some issues. She listen to my concern without rushing through. I would recommend her.

Dr. Oni is great! Very helpful, kind and knowledgeable, always addresses all my concerns in detail.

I had a great experience with Dr. Oni and have referred several people to her and pray they have a great experience as I received! Dr. Oni was very competent and adamant about health and wellness! She was prompt on getting all my blood work and other yearly testing that every female should receive! She made sure I received my testing results and was able to answer any questions or concerns I had regarding blood work! In my opinion she is a access to the medical field! Thank you Dr. Oni!

Terrible Dr Very lax on perscriptions as far as returning call to pharmacy.Does not do what she says. She probably hates her job.She needs to move on to a different line of work

I came to get a simple referral to another doctor for insurance purposes but Dr. Oni felt obligated to put on a whole song and dance to confuse me over whether I could get one or not. I ended up leaving with nothing, wasted my whole day. Needless to say I won't be coming back. I'm looking for another place tomorrow. She needs some time to reflect on what really matters, confusing the referral seeker probably isn't it.
