This man should have retired about two years ago. I only saw him because my doctor was taking a vacation. He refused to refill one of my prescriptions, which I have been getting for years, said he wanted to do lab tests to see if I "even needed insulin" My doctor tests my A1C regularly and has prescribed Metformin and Lantus insulin for me regularly since I started seeing him. All this old crust-brain had to do was open my very large patient file and look at my prior history and medications prescribed for me. He wrote on my lab slip "patient is non-compliant with medications", which has no reason to be on a lab order form. I had to wait two hours to see him. I will never make that mistake again. I would recommend that new patients avoid him like the plague.
