Dr. Moshe Kedan, MD

Dr Kedan came highly recommended and I am so happy I switched to him several years ago. He is the most thorough MD I have ever had. I read the reviews here, people complaining about unnecessary testing etc. People need to understand that the way Dr. Kedan cares for his patients is he likes to see them every six months. He alternates different tests twice a year and he uses those tests to analyze a person's health status, to find issues that need attention, to catch problems early that could grow into big, out of control problems later. He recommends supplements based on blood work as needed, and monitors changes over time. He may recommend surgery or further tests as needed. Twice a year you do two appointments, the first one is for ultra sounds, X-rays (if needed), lung capacity testing (all conveniently arranged in-house) and getting a blood test prescription. Similar to another review on here, might be my worst experience with a doctor's office in my life. I went for an annual wellness visit last year. I made it abundantly clear all I wanted was a preventative physical and nothing was wrong with me. I then had X-Rays, an EKG and other tests done which were not asked for. Upon leaving, he also wanted me to come back in a few weeks for additional testing (which I did not do). A few months later, I was billed $200+ because my insurance didn't cover the tests. Went back this time with the forethought of being a better advocate for myself and asked to not have any X-Rays, EKG or anything additional I would be charged for done and was told to go to a walk in clinic and was refused service. The only reason I came here was because UHC had him listed as a primary care provider, but it seems they are uninterested in primary care services unless they can bill patients for as many tests/labs possible, regardless of their patient's needs or insurance

Dr. Kedan is the most thorough and amazing PCP that I've ever had!! He is always concerned with my health and well being and explains what I need to do to stay healthy. (I'm not so good with my part!). I know that I can always trust he has my best interest at heart as he does very thorough check ups 2x a year. He explains all test results in great detail and makes you feel as ease. His Medical Assistant Joan is fantastic!!! She is always so nice and helpful!! Very efficient, has thorough exam

Dr. Kedan has been my husband and my doctor for several years now. We love that he is thorough and believes in preventative maintenance, if you will. He checks us so that we find any problem before it becomes a big problem. He is very gentle and caring. We are quite sad that our employer switched insurance carriers and Dr. Kedan is no longer in network.

Got a bill from Dr. Kedan for $200 for a physical exam. Insurance paid $ for the physical. When I made an inquiry to Dr. Kedan's office for explanation of charges, was told they were for the two diagnosis that the Dr. made. I asked what those diagnosis were and was told abdominal pain and GERD. I had no abdominal pain and no complaints of any symptoms of GERD, in fact I didn't even know what it was. The office manager/RN told me she would give me a credit of $155. Not! Humana investigating
