Inappropriate Comment
I was pregnant in early 2022 and saw Dr. Arovas for my first ultrasound after struggling with PCOS & being told I'd probably never be able to have kids. Partners still were not allowed in these appointments at the time. I had my husband on video call while we heard the heart beat and I was given 1 ultrasound photo that was all black (poor quality printing) . When I asked Dr. Arovas for an additional ultrasound photo she told me I should have taken photos on my phone if I wanted them. When I tried to kindly request another ultrasound photo again, I was printed 3 black ultrasound photos and then told 'now you have enough to wallpaper your room'. She proceeded to leave the room while I sat there stunned. I'm an RN which Dr. Arovas was unaware of so trust me when I saw this was the worst bedside manner I'd ever encountered. I never went back again. Inappropriate behavior.

I went to kaiser labor &delivery with 4 cm dialted (3rd baby delivery), and Dr. Arovas sent me home saying that I wasn’t in labor. I told her I’m in very intense contractions so she numbed me and put me to sleep. 1 hour after I got home my water broke, the ambulance has been called and the baby was delivered on ambulance gurney!
