Failed to Assess and Treat
His failure to assess my HGA1C, failed to assess my BP, fail to do a complete history and physical He was only interested in administering vaccination. It appears he is not interested in diagnosing and treating.

Ex patient
The good news is that he always has appointments available fast. The bad news is that it is obvious why. He was my pcp, misdiagnosed some things, i stayed until I could get in to a new dr. Not good.

Dont call if your sick
Mom was 94 had terrible chest cold. Called Dr. Patil . He didn't want to hear any symptoms but told me to call back when she felt better in a couple weeks. Took her to Urgent Care and she was put on two kinds of antibiotics because of her age . Got a call two days later with the news she had covid and urgent care dr. scheduled her for antibody treatment. A month later brought mom to Dr. Patil and he never talked to her or even took out his steathoscope to check her out. I was disgusted. Mom had long term effects of Covid and passed away 10 months after having it. I felt like I couldn't even call him for help because he just brushed us off on the one video chat call we did. If he doesn't want to dr anymore he should retire.

Dangerously unsatisfied
I had an appointment with DR Patil, felt as if I had a sever case of Bronchitis. He brushed it off like I had allergies. I was shocked and disturbed by his lack of concern. His comment was “it’s just allergies and it will take some time to pass.” On my way home from Delmar, I stopped at an urgent care. They noticed my issues right away, I did have bronchitis and was given the proper medication for it. It did help, but the bronchitis was so bad I even had to follow up with my pulmonologist, who also diagnosed me with bronchitis, and gave me the help I needed to knock out it out. What makes this so disturbing, he knew the summer of 2021 I was exposed to COVID and had a 12 day stay at Albany Med. Which was very scary, and I’ve been dealing with lung issues ever since. The fact that this man disregarded me like it was allergies is mind bending and unprofessional. He should not be in practice.

Been my primary for 6 yrs. and has helped me get healthy again. He is candid and frank about health issues, but is a caring person with a sense of humor if you give him a chance. His P/A or nurse Nina is also an outstanding professional who always makes you feel appreciated.

I saw Dr. Patil because he was the only doctor available for a same-day appointment. He was the most dismissive doctor I have ever experienced. Never again will I go see him.
