Compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable.

We’ve seen Dr Tu for both of our kids. When my son was 2 months old and had low grade fever after his vaccines, other pediatricians on-call were not concerned at all. We saw Dr Tu and she was quite thorough and suggested more blood test to rule out some rare conditions other than vaccine reaction, and thankfully we did. I was especially impressed when she called the ER hematologist with slight off-range results to consult when she told us she realized that as a pediatrician she had limitations but her instincts told her to seek for specialist opinions. We got to the ER the same afternoon and found out things deteriorated fast from the last result, the extra-caution could have saved our son’s life. We continued seeing Dr Tu after being discharged from the hospital and throughout these years, she’s always thorough, quick to reply messages even during nights and weekends, and she always communicates well what she thinks as a doctor and what she suggests if it was her own child.

Very pleased with our decision to work with Dr. Tu. She’s competent, friendly, patient and trustworthy. I had a list of questions being a first time mom and she took the time to sit with me and ease my nerves and build my confidence. Our daughter’s health is in excellent, capable hands.

If you have an intact son, don’t use Dr. Tu. She is not current in her education and will injure your child by retracting his foreskin during his exams. Also, she is very inconsistent in her advice and leans heavy on anecdotal evidence, rather than facts. This became apparent for us when my son presented with speech delays. She first said that multi-lingual children often speak later. At a later appointment she completely contradicted herself because her bilingual child did not exhibit a delay.

Very personable and competent doctor. Explains everything well so that we understand, takes time to check in on kids when they are sick. Am so glad we chose her for our kids' doctor.
