Dr. Nancy Yoon, MD

My office experience was very disheartening. They spent 10 minutes with me and then stated she didn't need to see me again, even after she told me she was sending me for blood work. My blood work came back with several concerns and I needed to be placed on medications and a thyroid scan completed. Both times I received a phone call from on of her tech's and they were unable to assist me with my diagnosis. They had to take down my questions and then call me back. I have yet to speak with doctor.

I cannot tell of my experience because I was told today by the staff that Dr Yoon only takes new patients by a referral from a PCP. Well, the reason I need a different Endocrinologist is because I changed health insurance from Anthem to IU Health. Dr Edmondson highly recommended I go to her if she is in my network. My insurance doesn't need me to have a referral, but Dr Yoon won't take me as a patient unless I pay a PCP, who doesn't know me, to refer me to her. I have to find a new PCP too
