Dr. Nandini Chhitwal, MD

Dr. Chhitwal recently denied me an MRI through my own insurance via her work with eviCore Healthcare. Dr. Chhitwal as thrown aside her ethics to rubber-stamp coverage denials for eviCore - a 3rd party company healthcare providers use hatchet various claims. I recently injured both my elbows. I completed 8 weeks of PT and several weeks of prescribed medication but because of a gap in treatment Dr. Chhitwal denied my request for MRI, and recommended that I undergo another 6 weeks of treatment that had already proven to be costly and ineffective at best (and injurious at worst). Dr. Chhitwal never consulted me or my doctor’s office. My only other option of recourse is to begin an appeals process, being left in significant pain for the foreseeable future. Shame on you, Dr. Chhitwal.

Dr. Chhitwal saved my life. After more than a year of pain and agony, it was Dr. Chhitwal who did the work necessary to correctly diagnose and treat my condition, Ankylosing Spondylitis....I can never thank her enough.

Top notch physician. The staff is fast and efficient - never a wait. Dr Chhitwal is through and never in a hurry. She listens carefully to what I have to say and we agree on treatment plans instead of just telling me what to do. A welcome difference from too many doctors. She is further away than my closest choice, but I feel it is worth it. I recommend her to my friends who have RA/OA issues.
