Back to golfing right after knee surgery
Dr. Hill is the best knee doctor in Orlando! I came here because they took my insurance and everyone else had a 2-3 week wait before I could see anyone. I was in so much pain, the appointment coordinator called Dr. Hill personally and he agreed to see me the next day. He is the best pain management doctor as well because with his injections my knee pain vanished for a couple weeks at a time. Eventually I needed knee surgery. Surgery went great, their in house physical therapy department was super convenient, and I was golfing less than 2 months later with no pain anymore! I highly recommend going to Hill Orthopedic Center!

Hill Orthopedic Center is the best. I came here originally for a second opinion. I was so glad I did. I still needed the surgery but Dr. Hill's prices were much lower than the hospital and I saved $2000 out of pocket. He did such a good job on my shoulder replacement and I feel like a million dollars now. I know my knee will be next, sucks getting old, but I will without a doubt come back to see Dr. Hill. Thank you for taking good care of me!!!

Never had a better experience with a doctor
I came to Dr. Hill for a second opinion from Rothman's. I assumed wit Rothman being so big that they would provide the best service and care. It took 3 weeks to get into Rothman and when I finally met the doctor, he spent 3 minutes with me and told me I needed a complete hip replacement. I almost did it but a friend of mine told me how great his experience was at Hill Orthopedic Center. First, it was very easy to see Dr. Hill. The very nice lady on the phone got me an appointment within a week. Dr. Hill met with me and spent his time explaining how he will do everything he can to prevent a total hip replacement surgery. I had a few office visits later where he gave me some nerve blocking injections and they really helped at first. We did some physical therapy work to try and help build strength and movement. I did feel a little better then Dr. Hill suggested we try an minimally invasive procedure called hip arthroscopy. I was so glad we did as I feel like a million bucks now!!

Incredible experience with Hill Orthopedic Center!
Dr. Hill did an amazing job. I am not sure why there are all the bad reviews. I found their staff to be very helpful and friendly. Dr. Hill took his time to hear my concerns. He tried everything he could do before surgery. HIs injections did work for short periods of time to get me through the worst of the pain, but ultimately I needed surgery for my knee. It came out perfect. I was literally walking the next day. He put me through their physical therapy department shortly after, which was super convenient to do everything in one place. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an orthopedic clinic to come here!

No Patient Advocacy - Seek Treatment Elsewhere
I do not recommend Dr. Hill. After injuring my left rotator cuff tendon in 2024, I sought treatment from Dr. Hill early this year. Despite my MRI and severely limited range of motion, he took a 'cautious' approach, opting for physical therapy and a cortisone shot. When I asked whether he was treating me as my doctor and advocate or as a representative of the insurance company, he assured me he had my best interest in mind. However, he failed to complete my physical therapy paperwork correctly, delaying my treatment. At a follow-up visit, when I questioned the passive approach, a nurse admitted they had to satisfy insurance requirements before considering surgery. Dr. Hill abruptly interrupted to correct her. This experience made it clear that patient advocacy was not the priority. If you’re looking for a doctor who truly fights for your best care, I suggest seeking treatment elsewhere.

Worst office
The doctor is ok, when you can actually see him. But getting an appointment is impossible. They never answer the phone. The authorization department is run by complete morons, they all lie and try and blame everyone else. Appts can't happen they say without the authorization, but you can never get them on the phone. When you do finally get them on, they give you all these codes to give to your primary for the referral and auth. So, in other words, they expect the patient to do their job. If the codes are wrong, they blame the patient. Makes no sense. Just lazy, unprofessional employees. This office could be successful if the doctor opened his eyes and saw the foolishness he had going on in his front office. The office manager, i think her name is Patti. Useless too. Another incompetent employee. It's a shame that people come here for help when they are in pain and all they get is more stress and pain from these so-called professionals. Find another doctor.

This doctor tells you he will fix your shoulders
I was there for months in both clinics left my shoulder labrum rip and suprascapula, he is selective who he operates on and fires good chiropractor..one Dr. Couldn't believe he never fix my shoulder. I hope he trips and feel what all those folks felt and what a liar he can be, treated some Caucasian Dr's. With no respect. Two who were concern since I had fallen and had a broken ribs, knees, and shoulder right. These Dr's should have never become Drs.

Need more efficient office staff
Not able to schedule an appointment or get through the authorization department as no one picks up the phone and it is impossible to leave a message as the voice inbox is full. I do not understand how they expect anyone will be able to schedule.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but this was the WORST doctor experienced we’ve ever had! He was incredibly rude and careless. I even asked my mom if she knew him because he seemed to really hate her. My mom broke her leg and was on Morphine at the hospital for 4 days and when she came home, she had no pain meds! My 60 year old mom was crying in pain from her severe break and had nothing to take for pain management! We called 4 times and nobody answered or called back. She was supposed to have a follow up appointment but by the time they called back (2 weeks later) we found a different doctor who was shocked to hear about the severity of her break and that the only thing she had been taking for it was Aspirin.

Called May 1st to set appointment for my husband’s torn meniscus. Carmen answered the phone after 5 minutes on hold and informed me they closed in 1 minute and I could call back. Informed her I needed an appointment so she took my husbands name and our phone number and would call me the following day. I just received a call one week later from another lady trying to set my appointment. NO THANKS!! I called another doctor a week ago who actually cared if we were seen and treated well by staff! Wish I could rate this lower than 1 star, very disappointed in the “service” I was never given.

Dr. came in the door and stood there the whole 5 minutes. He did not sit down and talk to me. Did not show me my injury from the DVD I brought with me. Room not even set up for that. Questions not answered,. No eye contact. Said he needed insur. Auth for shot to relieve pain. Auth arrived 3 days later but they could not fit me into their schedule until a month later. I went to a different doctor who was thorough and gave me a totally different diagnosis. I would never recommend this doctor.

Dr. Hill seems half-asleep, totally disinterested and detached from the situation: mumbles almost inaudibly, barely makes any eye contact or looks away from his computer, and just acts like he doesn't give a flying flip in general. Each time, l wait a month to see the guy, spend hours driving clear across Orlando at rush hour, sit for 45mins waiting in the lobby, and he speaks to me for 3 or 4 minutes MAX, before vanishing. Big waste of time (and money) and very discouraging.

First injury in 70+ years of living. Had no idea what to expect when going to a doctor. Six weeks after surgery, I have a testimony. Dr. Hill and his entire staff professionally communicated the procedure and expectation and eased my fears. All went as explained and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Dr. Hill's operation. The staff is to be commended on their efficient use of time. Best of all, the procedure was without pain up to today thanks to the anesthesiologist.

3 weeks for new patient appt, I've been in pain for months. Dr untidy, rushing, negative, not interested, agitated, unprofessional by all means, sleepy/drowsy, showed no concern, My 10yr old said "Mom why he's drowsy?" didn't do a thorough exam except passing printouts. I was suggesting treatments, He didn't prescribe med. I asked for a hand support. He prescribed for the wrong body part. I had to go 3 times to get it, I could've bought it OTC. Staff unprofessional. Will NOT go back, time waste
