He is the most caring compassionate doctor as a Colon Rectal Surgeon. Highly recommend. What a great human being. Could not find a better Dr.

During the initial with Dr. Smallwood presented himself with a very professional and knowledgeable attitude. His surgical skills were excellent. Immediately following the procedure he provided great support for myself and my wife. During the followup visit he was extremely professional with myself and did an internal exam to determine the healing progress. Immediately following he provided a brief summary that was very comforting for myself and my wife. I would highly recommend him to other individuals with similar conditions.

He explains how and why plus the ways to treat your condition. He’s prompt to get into see but I never feel rushed. I wish I could of found him much sooner Mrs Willis

I went to him for a second opinion and found he knows more about my issues than my first surgeon. After he explained what no other surgeon took the time to do it made it clear he would be my new surgeon. He has compassion and listens to you. I am not afraid of the surgery or worried about pain because I know he will do the best treatment for me.

First of all I call and I speak with a real live person not a recording. Second of all everyone at the office I encountered were nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Smallwood is a great doctor and listens to his patients and had answers for all my concerns. Dr. Smallwood got rid of all my pain and made my life better.

Very good staff. I didn’t have to wait long. Great nurses. Good explanations. He seems very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable.

Sherman is very blessed to have this relatively young and very competent surgeon. I could not imagine having any better surgeon in all areas of my care. He explained the procedure and answered all of my questions in language I could understand. He spent as much time as I needed to feel comfortable about his treatment. I highly recommend him.

Doctor Smallwood is an excellent surgery doctor. He has been taking care of me since 2008 and when I needed surgery done I followed him to his new practice and did the surgery at the surgery center in Sherman!!

Went for the first time a week ago..then again for a follow up. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Smallwood is very understanding and knowledgeable. Visit was fast, prompt and after surgery..the whole team has me back to feeling great!

Dr Smallwood is very quiet but very knowledgeable. I had a Hemorrhoidectomy about 2-1/2 weeks ago I still have pain after my bowel movement and when I pass gas but I will tell you that it’s nowhere near the pain I was having before he did my surgery. I highly recommend dr Smallwood.
