Dr. Nathaniel Downing, DO

Dr. Downing’s bed side manners are extremely inappropriate & insensitive. He spoke to us for less than 3 minutes and interrupted every second word. My son has complex medical needs at baseline & he refused to even listen to anything I said. I took my infant to ER for fevers & he said there was nothing to do since he wasn’t dying & vitals were fine. He did no further work up & said we can go home. No labs, no imaging, nothing. This interaction lasted no more than 3 minutes. I immediately took him else where and my son had a kidney infection & now getting an urology work up for blockages. He refused to do any further work up or consult with the pediatric hospitalist. He also had a smirk on his face when I was in tears begging for help because my mama gut knew something was wrong. I asked to speak to another provider and he said that isn’t allowed. Dr. Downing seems to be burned out, incompetent, and heartless. I only Gave him a 1 star rating because 0 wasn’t an option.
