Dr Firooz gave me steroids without doing any bloodwork. After taking steroids I got severe panic attacks.

The smartest doc I know
Dr Firooz is truly a caring and compassionate doctor. She discovered my Lupus when 2 others doctors ignored it. I had horrible nerve problems that were limiting my ability to work and the neurologists were stumped. She diagnosed me and after 2 months I was symptom free again. Fast forward to 3 years later, I am pregnant and realizing my dream of becoming a mom thanks to her expert help.

Dr. shows up an hour late to the appointment only to talk to you for less than 10 minutes then go on her way. What a waste of $40. Just asks how I feel and thats it. Had to get a better medication from the other Rheumatologist in the office because Dr. Firooz told me i couldn't afford it without consulting me first.

Office staff is terrible. Do not contact you when asked to do so. Have to keep calling back for conferencing with doc over phone or for answers to questions. When asked of one office assistant about mailing important correspondence, she told me she did not think she had a stamp!

I think Dr. Firooz is a very smart. She has helped me so much. She told me I have osteo-arthritis and whatever it is she did is helping me. That is why I come back to her I can rely on her input and care. She is very educated and knows what she is taking about.

Dr. Firooz is excellent I would recommend her. She is always caring for me. When I call the office and have question, they can help me out. The office jokes around with me. It is comfortable to talk to Dr. Firooz and tell her my needs.

Staff was good, office was very clean. I was seen for my appointment promptly. Dr. Firooz had an assuming manner about my aliments without entirely listening to what I told her. Questions were asked throughout my appointment, and it was information I already verbally presented to her. When she asked about why I may have cultivated my particular ailment, she looked at her Apple Watch and continuously clicked through it when I spoke. It made me feel dismissed and like I was not heard. Dr. Firooz may work well for other patients, though she did not have the right dynamic for me.

This past Friday, January 3rd, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting with Dr. Nazanin Firooz for the first time. She was kind, compassionate and had such a listening ear. I have had the unfortunate displeasure in the recent past, where Physicians want to scurry you out of their office, or they don't hear your pleas for help in diagnosing their issue. It is my complete honor to write such a roaring review of Dr. Firooz bedside manner, which seems to be lacking in some physicians. She was so thorough, asked me the questions she should have asked, was patient with my responses, and just trying to get to the bottom of my issues. What a blessing! One thing I also noticed, there are a few bad reviews re: Dr. Firooz. I am not discounting their experience with her however, the professional manner in which she replied to those negative reviews, I was just in awe of how she handled it...I mean just complete grace, humility, transparency, etc.

The most unprofessional staff a doctor office can have. I had an appointment, which I called to change the day of appointment. I asked if I was going to be charged for calling late, and was assured I wasn't. When I showed up on the next appointment, the office manager told me I have to pay $25 because I didn't show up for the last one. Even though the lady I talked to before confirmed she said I would not be charged, the manager said the doctor wants to charge me $25 so I never forget and do it again. Since I thought I had come to school, and not a doctor office, and we were all there to learn lessons, I requested for all my file, cancelled that day's appointment, and left. Maybe the doctor will learn this is how you lose patients, and future payments. I will never be back

Dr. Firooz's office staff is amazing. Been a patient for 2 years and am so thankful for their genuine care about me. Tawnya is the most outstanding , hard working staff member dealing with insurance and approval of medications for patients. She goes well beyond her job description. She never quits or gives up on insurance denials or pharmacy denials. She has spent countless hours on me alone to get my medication approved. She consistently updates me . Can't thank Tawnya enough. Dr is great

I’ve been seeing Dr. Firooz for a few years now. One thing that I like about her is she’s aggressive in treating this horrifying condition RA. I’ve seen so many people crippled because they had a doctor that was treating on the conservative side. They are now coming to see Dr. Firooz just to get some sort of relief. I’ve recommended many people to her, if they go I’m not sure, some people are afraid to face it. I sure was at first. I love her staff and they always have chocolate candy bars

I've been a patient of Dr. Firooz for 6+ years and she has been amazing at treating my illness in conjunction with my other medical issues. She's knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. That goes for her staff as well; from dealing with insurance & specialty pharmacies (you're amazing, Tanya!), to making convenient appointments (thank you, Michelle!), and even getting my dreaded injections (you're the greatest, Tony!), Dr. Firooz & her staff are the best.

I have SLE approx 10 yrs now and have seen my share of specialty doctors. I have never met a more caring compassionate doctor than Dr. Firooz and her staff. Shout out to Tayna. In 5 yrs, she always runs on time and I have never had any difficulties with appointments. SLE has a lot of ups and downs and any time I needed Dr. Firooz , she has always made herself available immediately. She has always gone above and beyond in patient care. She listens to everything very carefully and takes her time

If it was possible to give a minus star I would do that. My husband has been a patient of Dr Firooz and most recently been experiencing some additional symptoms. We tried calling and left messages no calls back. Then the office called to reschedule an appointment. I expressed my concern as to what he was experiencing and was assured that either the girl I spoke with or the doctor would call back. Nothing! My husband in now in the hospital and will remain for sometime.

Dr. Firooz was nice enough to me, however she was horrible to her staff. During my last visit, she belittled her staff on at least 3 separate occasions, never once being discrete. I can not continue to see a professional who is so unprofessional with her staff. Unacceptable.

I went to a followup appointment after having blood drawn. I reviewed my list of medications with the nurse. From my typewritten list handed to her at the initial visit, she had 50 percent of the information correct. When the doctor came in she asked if I was here for my post-injection followup. I informed her I had blood drawn and was asking for the results. She said everything was fine. At a second look she said oooops, there is something here, etc. Lost faith completely/moving on.
