Dr. Baecher is an outstanding surgeon. He has excellent bedside manner. Dr. Baecher has always explained my condition and the treatment options in ways that make sense and facilitate decision making on the patient’s part. He has also answered all of my questions patiently and kindly even though he and his practice are very busy. I have had 2 surgeries with Dr. Baecher to correct distal bicep tendon injuries from a traumatic accident. (Both arms were affected) One arm is 100% rehabilitated and the other is well on its way. I would recommend Dr. Baecher to anyone who is injured or suffering from hand, arm, elbow, or shoulder conditions as a top expert in his field who is dedicated to getting you back to your work and life!

I don’t even want to give Dr. Baecher 1 star! I never even met the Dr. until the day of the surgery! I went in to have a ganglion cyst removed and came out having a completely different surgery. CMC with tightrope. The pain was excruciating and they ended up sending me to Norfolk to have an MRI done on that hand. Apparently they didn’t even read the results because they suggested I start PT! It was no way with all the pain I was feeling so I went for a second opinion. Fri I have to have another surgery to correct what dr. Baecher did to me. This is what I have to have done even though he thought I was ready for PT….REMOVAL OF SUPPORT IMPLANT, NERVE BLOCK, REPAIRING OF WRIST JOINTS, AND TRANSPLANT OF HAND TENDON. I WISH I HAD NEVER GONE TO SMOC!
