BILLING OFFICE IS SHADY
I like Dr. Patel however his billing office charged me $1,281.00 before they would do my procedure. When I contacted my insurance regarding my out of pocket, they told me that I should have only paid $30!! I have been fighting to get my money back from them for almost 8 months! They still will not return my calls!!! BEWARE DO NOT PAY BEFORE TALKING TO UR UNSURANCE!!!

Had an appointment with Dr. Nimish Patel. We confirmed with the insurance that he was an in-network provider for our insurance and had booked the appointment about 10 days prior. When we were there to see the doctor, the staff told us that Dr. Patel does not participate in our insurance and refused to even speak to our insurance. We decided to see the doctor anyways and we paid out-of-pocket for the visit ($250) since the doctor does not take our insurance. In two weeks, we see that the doctor's office has billed over $1000 to our insurance for an out- patient visit. So they DO ACCEPT the insurance and have chosen to bill both separately. The doctor's assessment of the illness was also not very convincing. I would never recommend this doctor and the billing department is a scam. Stay away!

Nasal Endoscopy
I had an appointment with my 5 years old son. This doctor could not perform the nasal endoscopy in full , only checked one nostril. Not detailed information, detailed check in of my son. the most important to get another appointment and pay over $1000 bill for nothing. Highly is NOT recommended.

Shady Doctors
I went to Dr. Patel and was told I needed a procedure in December 2022 but they needed to church with Medicare. I asked how much the procedure would be if I paid out of pocket and was given the run around and never told how much it was. I called twice in January and they said the couldn’t schedule the procedure yet because of Medicare. I explained each time that I could pay out of pocket if need be and asked how much was the in-office procedure. I was never told. It is now getting to the middle of February 2023 and I still haven’t had the procedure. ANY REASONABLE PERSON first of all isn’t going to buy something without knowing the cost. I suspect that the procedure is unorthodox or unproven and that was the problem with Medicare. Whether that is the case or they want to hide the outrageous amount they charge, I will never know. Based alone on my experience, I would stay away from Dr. Nimish Patel and the ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas.

Ridiculous Cancellation Fee
BEWARE!!! I have been a patient of this practice for quite some time and have been very happy with the staff there and with Paige, the PA. I was scheduled for allergy testing and unfortunately had to cancel the appointment which I did 3 days prior to the appointment. They are charging me $150.00 because I did not cancel the appointment 5 days prior. Read everything that you sign in this office so you will not be caught by this ridiculous fee. Seems like it's all about making money!

Had severe ear pain eleven days after sinus surgery. Ear pain not listed on his post operative symptoms. Found ear pin listed on another ENT practice's post operative symptoms. Ear pain lasted one year. I believe nerve was bruised during surgery.

Dr. Patel did a fabulous job on my sinus surgery 2 years ago. I would do it again in a heartbeat! I’ve recently had a flare up with allergies/sinus pressure. Dr. Patel spent time listening to my symptoms and concerns and came up with a game plan I’m happy with. I would recommend this office to anyone!

I spent less than one hour to have one side of my sinus drained. He charged $12019.99 for the procedure. I felt much better for about 3 weeks.

I took my wife to his office. Very disappointing. Dr. Patel lacks basic manners of greeting patients. His visits are very rushed. He spend whopping less than 5 minutes with us. More interested in scheduling next appointment.

0 stars! I went in for a consultation, paid my copay and left. A couple weeks later I receive a bill for $300! I called to ask what it was for and apparently he did something outside a regular consultation without telling me. I would have opted out if I had known! I asked if he could call me back, but it’s been 6 months and he hasn’t. I initially called to make an appointment with another doctor, but his schedule was “wide open.” Now I know why. Bad doctors are such a disappointment.

Dr. Patel was very thorough in my examination discussing my possible hyperparathyroidism for which I was recently diagnosed. He explained the specifics and ordered a nuclear medicine imaging. When he reviewed my current blood testing results for PTH intact he advised that there were over the range yet not too bad. He wants to review the results of the upcoming imaging and continue monitoring my PTH blood results over the next several months before determining whether I will require surgery.
