Dr. Noel Fleischer, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Fleischer's for almost ten years. While that alone should tell you how I feel about him, I'll elaborate. Doctor Fleischer is one of the rare doctors that treats you as an equal. This means that he listens to what you have to say about your health and he includes you in the decision making process and takes the time to explain treatments and recommendations. I want to be part of my treatment, but I understand that others may prefer the doctor to give them a treatment plan. I have no doubt that whichever you prefer, Dr. Fleischer will accommodate you and you'll happy and confident in his care.

I had heard Dr Fleischer’s name through a mutual acquaintance. I had never had the need to see a neurologist but several months ago I had a bout with something called global transient amnesia, which id never heard of and was quite terrified. While doing a search to see a neurologist I reached out to several where the waitlist was 3 months or longer and then I remembered meeting Dr Fleischer and called his office. He responded very promptly and took an interest in my well being and was able to fit me into his busy schedule as he was concerned for my wellness. After a brain MRI, an EEG and a thorough exam with many questions I felt very reassured and the extra care he took to phone me several times after my visit made me feel extremely well cared for and he followed up several more times to see how I was doing. A very caring doctor during a very stressful time. In this day where medical care often feels rushed and impersonal, Dr Fleischer stands out as a very caring physician.

I brought my father to him and he is so professional. He has great bedside manner and he made my father feel very comfortable (he was nervous for the appointment). I completely recommend this neurologist to anyone and everyone.

Unlike so many doctors, Dr. Fleischer actually cares! He’s very thorough and patient. And if you have a tricky condition that’s not easy to diagnose, he really digs in. He will ask lots of questions (and listen to the answers), do the research, order the right tests, and make appropriate referrals if needed. I recommend Dr. Fleischer if you want to be treated humanely by an excellent and diligent doctor. He helped me tremendously. Appointments are easy to make and the staff are professional and pleasant to deal with.

Without Dr. Fleischer I would probably be in a wheelchair by now. He was and still is very helpful wit.h my back problems

Dr. Noel Fleischer is a specialist that is very attentive to patient concerns. He doesn't rush through his exams and spends time in answering any questions you have. His friendly mannerism always makes you feel at ease. I used to see him at the Queens office which is walking distance from my home, but due to schedule changes on my end I now see him at the manhattan office. He is well worth the trip.
