Dr. Norah Randles, MD

I spent the first 13 years of my life experiencing migraines with auras. My pediatrician at the time (NOT Dr. Randles) suggested I was pretending I had migraines because my sister had migraines. My mom took me in for an office visit when my migraine became so bad I couldn't go to school. Dr. Nora Randles was the only doctor available to see me that day. It is a miracle that my appointment was with her. Dr. Randles sent me for a MRI. That MRI revealed a ganglioglioma on my right temporal lobe. Part of it rested on my optic nerve. Part rested on my brain stem. My neurosurgeon later told me that if the tumor grew any larger, I would've lost my sight. Maybe in a year. Maybe in months. I am only here today because Dr. Randles actually listened to my symptoms. She didn't think I was "making up" my symptoms. She listened to that scared 13 year old, validated her symptoms, and ordered a MRI, something my original pediatrician should've done years before. Dr. Randles saved my life.

Dr. Randles is professional and approachable, kind and warm with your kiddos and does a great and thorough job. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
