Gastric Sleeve
Dr. Seun is a very knowledgeable surgeon. He is well-spoken and always has a plethora of information to share. He may come off as curt at first, but he has no ill-intent. He is ‘plant-based’ and does push that agenda a bit, but it is due to his understanding of the body and of science.I approaching one year post-op gastric sleeve surgery and have lost 70lbs. with his help. My incisions healed beautifully and I have had no complications. I would highly recommend Dr. Seun to anyone considering having this procedure done.

I have my life back
Dr. Seun is amazing! He's very straight forward and gives you the tools you need to be successful. Dr. Seun cares, and wants you to be successful. My procedure was explained to me from the first visit and any questions I have are always answered. I started this journey at over 300 lbs by surgery I was under 300 and today 6 months post op I am 214. I can walk miles without being tired, I was able to take a Taekwondo class and didn't need to sit anything out. My life is so different and I still have a journey, but I'm well on my way. If you're ready to change your life I recommend going to see Dr. Seun.

Great doctor

Lose weight & feel young again
Dr. Seun has helped me lose weight and feel so much healthier than I have felt in 18 years. I feel 15 years younger and I have so much more energy and feel so much better about myself. I am so much healthier. Dr. Seun is a dedicated doctor that spends time with his patients and answers all the questions you may have. A great surgeon with the bedside manner to match
As far as surgeons go, Dr. Seun is one of the best. Recovery and healing were optimal. I highly recommend Prime Surgicare for any bariatric needs. The office staff are wonderful and so helpful. The one issue I have is the wait time. Appointment times seem to be suggestive, you may be seen on time or you may be waiting an hour. HOWEVER, that being said, the reason for the wait is the care that is given to every individual. You are not rushed, Dr. Seun takes the time to address all concerns and questions. In the long run, I think it's a fair trade.

I struggled with my weight all my life. I have tried so many things and meet so many doctors to achieve weight loss with no success. Someone recommended Dr. Sowemimo, I thought well l have nothing to lose. I went to my appointment with my notebook, pen and started asking questions. He asked me is this an interview? I said “yes”. After the visit I was so pleased with him, I decided right there I want to work with him. Today, I went to my 3 months post op appointment and had to thank him. He’s so compassionate, informative, caring and great bedside manners. I am so glad I have the opportunity to work with him! Let me not forget to thank the staff, who are so amazing as well. Thank you for helping me in this weight loss journey, I am learning so much and able to keep my eyes on the goal. For those who ask I have lost ~50lbs and still working on myself. It’s not an easy journey but there’s no one I rather do it with than the team I choose. Thank you Dr. Sowemimo and staff!!!

Excellent Obesity Program
Amazing experience, from being a patient with hypertension and morbid obesity with sleep apnea, not breath well, with saturation 80% to 85% and now being able to breath and wake up with energy. I will have to say, thank you Dr. Seun, the great job you are doing, not just to do the surgery, but all the follow ups, recommendations, your whole program is a great opportunity for any person who wants to have a better life. Thanks a lot. 3 months post op.

My life was given back to me!
I never had the courage to make this leap into having gastric sleeve until I met Dr. Sowemimo and his lovely team. I am so thankful for not only having an amazing surgeon that made me feel safe and encouraged along the way but his whole team was there for me. Dr. Sowemimo actually listens to his patients and wants to support your goals. He never dismissed me and was not only thorough but extremely thoughtful. I am still on my journey and not giving up. Not only did I loose 100 lbs from stepping foot into this office but I found a love for myself again, and that is the greatest love you can have. Your body is your temple, do your body good and your body will do you good!

Great surgeon and staff
I received great care from Dr. Sowemimo and his staff. I appreciate that the surgery was scheduled far enough out (about 3 months) that I had time to really wrap my head around the big change I was undertaking. I've had great results so far and am sure that, with Dr. Sowemimo and his staff's continued I will accomplish my health goals.

Great doctor
