Visited him 2nd time first time he gave me a shot which worked like magic 2nd time he gave a shot that was diff and I had gotten the same kind for my hip called triamcinolone acetanide given by a diff doctor developed edema of legs and rashes, I still have rashes ended up seeing a dermatologist, he was following blindly what the other doctor did , very itchy rashes

I don't know what the problem was for those other people who left reviews. The office staff was fine, the nurse was fine, Dr Kaw was cheerful and attentive and actually did explain his diagnosis, including shoulder joint anatomy and what was happening. I give four stars because he was fast-paced, which could seem rushed to some people. I took it as him being energetic. Also - he's a surgeon. He's a busy guy. Also this was just a consult, I wasn't having surgery or anything.Still my experience was definitely four or five stars. Maybe other people saw him on a bad day for him? Or for them? Based on the other reviews here I was prepared for an unpleasant experience and it was the opposite of that.

I had one of these back in the 90's and it was extremely painful. Much more so than in the fingers and wrists. I didn't feel well because of taking antibiotics and I almost cancelled. To cut a long story short...this was the best doctor I have ever met in 83 years! He and his nurse were extremely positive. We chatted away since he's Indian and I've been seven times. Then I asked him when he was going to do the injection. He'd already done it and I didn't feel a thing. Then he gave me a warm hug and my partner and I left.

Dr. Kaw took the time to discuss my issue as well as several different options for treatment. He was kind, caring and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Kaw.

Visit was very rushed. I did not feel he was listening to me about a change in my condition. I practically had to beg for an MRI. Turns out it was not just another old lady with arthritis. I had a fracture that did not show up on the x rays but was clear on the MRI. Needless to say I will not return to him.

It has been 1 year since I saw this orthopedist AND I just found out today that the diagnosis he gave me was wrong and to date I have gotten worse. He rushed me during initial visit, I couldn't understand him as he spoke so fast and on 2nd appointment was even more rushed. So upset because Crystal Run has so many incompetent doctors and treat people as a number and not a human being.
