overcharges
I see from a previous review this seems to be a common practice-Dr Chiles charges an astronomical amount for looking in your nose and labels it "surgery" a 30 second ordeal is charged $387.00 not to mention an additional $329.00 for the medical visit itself. He should DEFINATELY inform his patients that when he looks in your nose it will be labeled surgery for almost $400.00. This is unbelievable and I cant believe he can get away with this. Think twice before heading to this guy. I canceled all future appointments and would give a negative review if I could

Watch out if you're on a high deductible plan
*Ask what you will be charged for each move the doctor makes.* Things that may seem a basic part of an ear/nose/throat exam are very likely NOT considered part of the visit, and a seemingly simple look in your nose most definitely will be billed as a surgical procedure, at an additional cost of hundreds of dollars. My complaint is that when the doctor asked if he could look in my nose he did not tell me that it was a special and costly procedure. Feedback from the office amounts to expecting patients to memorize a price list sent in the stack of new-patient paperwork that requires consent to prior to being seen. "May I look in your nose" would never equate in my mind to "may I perform a special procedure called nasal endoscopy which will be billed by your insurance as surgery?" "Consent" is a word used frequently by office staff, but it's not always clear all that you are consenting to. Proceed with caution. This destroyed my trust in the doctor and I will not return.

Excellent knowledge and thorough exam with quick solution to my ear problem. I so appreciated all the measures they took to keep me safe during this pandemic. Very clean office and swift check in.

If you need to see an ENT you can not get better than Dr. Chiles. I have been to him many times over the years and he has always done a fantastic job. He has done surgery on me three times with excellent results.

My attempts at receiving care from Dr. Chiles were met with a complete lack of care from the staff who represent him. I'm not sure if it was the intention of the staff to cover up lack of empathy on behalf of Dr. Chiles or if they are just plain negligent. I would HIGHLY recommend taking the time to find another physician, you'll be thankful you did!
