Dr. Timms unraveled what the mystery of what was causing issues that I have battled for years. I was initially diagnosed with Reflex sympathetic dystrophy/ Complex Regional Pain syndrome which was a correct diagnosis, however there were several missed diagnoses as well. When I got sick I was told that I was on a crps/ rsd flare. Dr. Timms left no stones unturned to get me proper diagnoses and I found out that I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia, reynauds that had gone undiagnosed for 20 plus years. Because of the lack of unproper diagnoses my body was in shutdown mode. In my experience Dr. Timms is extremely busy and highly skilled in his field. His care has literally changed my life for the better. He is not rude and his staff is always accommodating! I gave suffered years of excruciating pain as a result of doctors not willing to go the extra mile. I am blessed to have him as one of my doctors after firing all of the old. I am back on track all due to Dr. Timms. He sees more patients daily than any doctor I know. He does not have time for idle chit chat and is all business. People seem to think he is rude when in fact he is not. I would recommend him highly. He has changed my life with treatment that should have started 20 plus years ago. Unfortunately the lack of care from previous doctors has left me with damage to my eyes, organs, bones and joints. I thank God every day for Dr Timms!

Dr. Patrick Timms is a VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ACCURATE DOCTOR WITH HIS DECISIONS AND HEALTH PROFESSION. I have been going to his office every year and he listens and gets things done to the point of your body pain. I will continue to come see him as long as I'm alive and able to see him. Very caring doctor who know his job and has a great staff in his office every time I go there for my appointments. Thank you the best "Dr. TIMMS !!!!" Betty from Pagosa Springs Co. 4 hour drive and very worth it !

Rude staff!! The lady’s at the front desk are extremely unprofessional and rude! I was asked to come in the next day, drove over an hour to get there the next day and was told the Dr wouldn’t see me without another scan. When I tried to express my frustration the two lady’s at the front desk got loud with me. Needless to say after that I was the loudest. The staffs attitude towards patients is absolutely disgusting! He is not thorough and obviously tolerates his staff yelling at patients after they ask you to come in as if your in the wrong for being there. I have extreme worsening symptoms and when I tried to tell them about them I was cut off. Avoid this very poor excuse of a Drs office at all costs to protect your physical and mental health. I’m moving out of state for medical care! With Dr Tim’s being one of the only rheumatologists in the area he thinks he and his staff have the right to treat their patients with complete disrespect and zero compassion.

You would think that with as many years experience as this Dr. has, that he might actually listen to his patient,, and not assume to know more about their bodies than the patient. Then take credit for re-diagnosing a disease. Sometimes the patient actually knows what they are talking about. Sometimes listening, can go along way. I'm disappointed that I put my faith in his expertise, my mistake, now on the search for another Rheumatologist.

He is a really good Dr. and I feel like he knows what he is doing, having worked in the medical field I'm sorry but I know how needy some patients can be, some people just enjoy leaving bad reviews because a Dr. didn't spend 1 hour with them... the same people complain when the Dr. doesn't have availability, in my experience he has depending on what I have, spent the time necessary without chit chat, and when the concern is major, the appointment is longer and so is the talk. It is that simple

I've seen some really disparaging comments about Dr. TImms. I can only speak for myself. I found him to be kind, understated, thoughtful and COMPETENT. I believe if anyone had a problem with him, there must have been a reason, I especially liked his no nonsense approach. He answered all my questions and I would not hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Timms is an amazing diagnostician. Because he is not an extrovert, he carefully listens to your symptoms and is incredibly accurate in diagnosis and treatment. He has a heart of gold that is hidden beneath his professional demeanor.

I am a patient and have been for many years. The last couple of times I was there I was treated rudely, he didn't care and wouldn't listen. I couldn't even get results of tests from him because he had no time.

I was refered to this doctor for possible RA. after the 1st visit I was left feeling unimportant and disregarded.there was no help or even the slightest concern. now after my 2nd visit not only do i feel the same but ive been looked at as if I'm a liar and I can't get service now. I now have to go find a new one and I don't understand why. No one should feel like I feel after any visit with a health care professional which is why I highly recommend NOT seeing this doctor

I could never reccomend this Dr. Reception staff is rude & uncaring. The Dr. is rude, in two appointments he has spent less than 10 minutes with me. Has never touched me to eamine me. Refused to even acknowledge my daughter or discuss my case with her. Changes meds without even reviewing lab work. Avoid this Dr. If possible, very dissapointed after waiting 6 months for appointment.

I found Dr. Timms to be , though gruff, a very good doctor and informative. He was able to diagnose me with fibromyalgia and not RA as my doctors where I live told me. I would recommend him to anyone needing treatment.

Dr. Timms is an excellent Doctor. Both myself and spouse are treated by him and his staff. He is very knowledgeable and was able to correctly diagnose what other doctors have missed. His office treats all rheumatology patients in the Pueblo area and he is the only rheumatologist in the Pueblo area; however his care by him and his staff is great.
