Very Receptive
Dr. Kenworthy made sure to carefully listen to my symptoms and I didn’t feel rushed like I normally do with other doctors. This did mean that the wait time was higher than I expected during my appointment time because he wasn’t rushing through his other patients (which is why I only gave 4 stars) but I prefer a doctor that will listen to my issues. I was nervous going into the appointment but he made sure I felt comfortable with any tests performed.

He is a really great doctor
Takes good time to listen to all your concerns and issues, is patient, nit rushed although he is always very busy. Have had 2 urologist the last 5 years, and all they could offer was pills that just constipate me and really not to real issues. Found to have an overactive bladder and bowel issue similar. Has ruined my walking and hiking that I love to do. So now we will try the Axonics and I will get back and review in couple months

AVOID AVOID AVOID KENWORTHY and NORTHWOODS UROLOGY
Kenworthy has the worst clinical skills of any doctor I’ve ever met. He performed a UROLIFT on me in October 2023. Disaster from the start. No pre-op counseling. Not a single word of post-op counseling. He arrived for the scheduled procedure late and left immediately after the 10 minute procedure without a word. Extreme pain during the procedure and heavy bleeding for 4 days. The day of the implant procedure ended with EMTs at the house. His handiwork failed within 3 months. Why? Because Kenworthy doesn’t know that the prostate size upper limit for a UROLIFT implant is actually 60 grams max (I was 79 gr - too large). Without thinking about it, he prefers to follow the claim in the UROLIFT brochure that says 100 grams. My advice: AVOID KENWORTHY, and you’ll avoid a personal healthcare nightmare.Zero stars is too many for this pretender.

Thank you!
I've went to several appointments to Northwoods Urology. Dr. Paul Kenworthy, and staff has treated me very good. I'm so thankful that there are doctors that truly care for their patients. I'm looking forward to the next appointment on the 9th of January.

The office visit went satisfactorily. When we left we were told we would receive a call that afternoon or the next day with lab results. The results were available on the patient portal. Forty-eight hours later we had not heard from the office to follow-up with antibiotic orders. . Multiple calls were made to the triage nurse. She never answered the phone. I left multiple messages and went to the office to see if I could talk to her in person. NOTHING. In the meantime my mother was feeling worse. Probably going to end up taking her to the emergency room. We will NOT be returning to this office.

Dr Kenworthy seems to be a good doctor but the receptionist is rude and uncaring and incompetent. Second appointment and same experience each time. She needs to be fired before she ruins his practice. I thought long and hard before calling his office the second time. He gets one more chance with me.

I traveled to Houston from Cleveland Ohio specifically to have Dr. Kenworthy take care of my problem. He gave me sound advice, was straightforward in explaining the procedure, risks of doing the procedure and just as importantly, the risks of not doing the procedure. His staff was professional and friendly - it was a wonderful experience overall. I highly recommend any man with prostate challenges to consider Dr. Kenworthy.

Dr. Kenworthy is a kind and compassionate person and a very skilled surgeon. He performed my Urolift almost 2 years ago with no difficulty and it's the best thing I've had done to eliminate my BPH symptoms. His skill, professionalism, and listening skills are wonderful and reassuring. His follow up has been spot on, too.

Compared to the the first doctor who performed my first biopsy - Kenworthy is horribly incompetent. If you want to make an uncomfortable but very tolerable procedure into an extremely painful experience - Kenworthy is the guy to see. I would recommend you avoid him since I fired him after receiving my results and transferred everything to MD Anderson for my treatment and followup. This review is from a VETERAN who tells it like it is.

We are blessed to have found two Doctors Kenworthy and Doctor Francis. They go the extra mile to pin point what the problem is. Now on the other hand THE CHECK OUT RECEPTIONIST is not very PEOPLE FRIENDLY! We the patients are stressed as it is already trying to find out what’s wrong with our selves. And having this unpleasant person check you out does not help things out. Be considerate because you never know whenYOU will be in the same position. God sees and does not like an ugly personality.

Dr. Kenworthy was a considerate Dr and did my husbands surgery. His staff on the other hand is by far the worst staff I have ever come across. They do not answer the phones, when they do they say they will call back and don't. They have no consideration for the patients who come in that office. I will not recommend this office just because of the staff. My husband had his surgery 3 weeks ago and has called several times for a refill on his anti inflammatory meds and NO PHONE CALL BACK!!!!

The doctors are great. Very happy with everything from office visits to surgery. I can't praise them enough. The ONLY negative is the office staff in Huntsville. Very cold, rude and always act confused or irritated that you may ask a question. However, if you can look past this then this IS the place to go. I give them a 100%
