June 2015, after suffering with undiagnosed auto-immune hepatitis for 6 months, I had a CT scan with contrast dye in prep for a paracenteses procedure. My failing liver produced so much ascites fluid I looked pregnant. Dr. Lyle reviewed the CT scan results but did not ask to see me. He had the nurse call to cancel the procedure. There was so much fluid, Dr. Lyle "didn't want to nick an organ." I went home with no instructions. Three days later I was admitted to UW Hospital with liver failure!
