Dr. Petelin performed my PRK surgery. He explained the history of the procedure putting me at ease.

Tried to make an appointment after Urgent Care visit and this office just plain hung up on me when I asked if they could see me soon. I guess not.

I had cataracts & wanted DISTANCE CORRECTION ONLY. I made it clear to all of his techs who do the majority of the office exams - that vertigo is a huge problem for me. I repeated it at least six times. First eye was absolutely perfect! Distance clear & colors bright! Second eye office appointment (middle week) he’d had little sleep & spent about 4 min with me. & for some unknown reason he “forgot” I only wanted DISTANCE. After second eye, one week later, next day I could read things up close, but could see nothing in distance. Took me about 28 hours to figure out GOD Petelin had decided to swap my distance - for near. I was furious & still feel very violated. Office & his own response was RUDE, sarcastic, demeaning, & as though above all reproach. & patient’s must sign for what they’re getting except no untrained patient could have any idea what they’re signing, because no one explains anything. He’s in this for money & that’s his goal. Actual patient care is non-existent.

Dr. Petelin did my cataract surgery. I had no pain or other problems afterwards. I see better than ever and do not need glasses now for anything. On the 'down' side, Dr. Petelin has no "bedside manner". He will not spend any more time with you than is absolutely necessary. My impression is that he is a gifted eye surgeon. If that is all you need from him - if you don't need to make a new friend - he's your man.

He did cataract surgery for my Mother, my spouse and is my eye doctor. He did an exceptional job. His staff are competent and friendly and his office is well organized.

Scottsdale Center For Sight is a Five Star practice imo. I recently had YAG Laser Eye procedure completed (my right eye). It was painless. My vision has cleared dramatically. I am very pleased with the results. I want to thank Dr. Petelin for his excellent work. His staff is top notch. They answered all my questions and reviewed the at home follow-up care. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Petelin removed cataracts from both eyes and I had no problems at all. I now see better than I have in years and no longer need glasses!

Dr. Petelin performed cataract surgery on cataract surgery on my left eye on 2/27/18. Today my vision is wonderful. Halfway to not wearing glasses after 54 years!
