Not worth my time
Not worthy of my time and money waited 2 hours before being seen due to overbooking. Poor office staff and manager I was given choices or medical options that were not relevant to my specific situation. Keep looking

Would not recommend Dr Richardson to anyone. He is extremely unprofessional. I left my appointment feeling very overwhelmed and confused. I waited an hour and a half to be seen, (I was the only person in the lobby) and an additional 40 minutes in my room as well. Dr Richardson did not take any of my questions or concerns seriously until pulling up my scans and looking at them for a whole 30 seconds before telling me I need a stent or a port put in otherwise my kidney was going to have "permanent damage or blow out." He then proceeded to tell me he had a patient die 2 weeks prior during a procedure before shoving me out the door. I went to Mayo clinic the next day for a second opinion and they told me he was completely inaccurate in his evaluation and did not take the time to properly look over my scans. They told me having a stent or port put in, as well as the CT scan Dr Richardson said I needed, (I am currently 30 weeks pregnant ) was absolutely unnecessary.

Dr. Richardson is wonderful. Sometimes it is a long wait but it is worth the wait. My husband has had bladder cancer for 14 years and Dr. R has watched him carefully. He is very cautious and has referred us to Iowa City twice to see a specialist. I would recommend Dr. Richardson for sure!

Dr. Richardson has a very distinct voice. So distinct in fact that I overheard his entire conversation about golf while I sat in my exam room, unattended, for 40 minutes. I eventually walked to a desk and informed them that I hadn't yet been seen. Overheard Dr. being informed, stating that I was next. Surprise surprise, he walked in 30 seconds later, stating that he had fallen behind on patients. Mind you this was a 10 AM appointment. So.... he forgot I was even there.

Well… I went in for a prostate checkup when I a sleight elevation of the PSAs on a recent blood test. Ended up getting a biopsy done (results were negative), and I thought Dr. Richardson was excellent, prompt, clear, providing good explanations and insight, and I'd recommend him to anybody.

Dr gave me zero instructions for providing samples after vasectomy. I took samples into his office and his nurse had to explain to me that they needed to be delivered to the hospital instead of the office. She also explained to me they need to be one month apart and delivered to the lab within one hour. This is all information that was not explained to me before, during, or after the procedure by Richardson

I'm here for a follow up appointment and have been waiting for 2 hours between the waiting room and exam room. Overall experience is very unsatisfactory.
