I went to his office after seeing my primary care doctor several times for gut issues. i went to see him and he acted as if my dropping 60 plus pounds of weight with no diet and exercise was no big deal. He also told me i was too young for a colonoscopy because i wasnt 40. he said i just had post infectious IBS with out doing any tests of any kind. He said to take some probiotics and id be better and One week later i was in the hospital. I had diverticulitus, torn diverticulum, a huge abcess and spent 16 days in the hospital. I had to wear a drain for 5 almost 6 months to get rid of infection so they could do a ileostomy surgery. I had major issues and he acted as if i was imagining it. When i was truly very sick and had to wear an ileostomy bag for 3 months. I spent a total of 45 days in the hospital. It could have been caught sooner if he had just done a colonoscopy but he didnt want to because i wasnt old enough and most likely because i didnt have insurance.

Very disappointed!

Dr Swartz and his team were amazing! They were on time, friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. I was able to experience the GCA office and the Augusta Endoscopy Center, and both were pleasant experiences. I recommend Dr Swartz and his team to everyone.

The staff was great and made the whole visit seamless, Dr. Schwartz spent adequate time with me and listened and answered all of my questions.

I've been a patient of Dr Schwartz's for about 25 years. He's the most compassionate, thorough doctor I have. I never have a staff member call me with a test result. He has always taken time to do this himself! I wouldn't trade him for any other!! His staff is also the best!!

Dr. Schwartz discovered a mass on my pancreas. I needed immediate attention to determine if the growth was cancer. He stayed on top of the situation until a specialist at Emory could take over performing the next course of diagnosis/treatment. I have seen Dr Schwartz in the past for other issues. In every encounter, he.calls personally with the results of any test results. I would HIGHLY recommend him. If I could rate him higher than a five, I surely would. Great doctor!
