Best of the Best
I rarely give out reviews, but I am on day two of a total knee replacement. So far, so good and great mobility. However, the point of this review is Dr. Siffri's reputation as a surgeon and a person. I have not had that many interactions with Siffri, but his people skills are great and shows outstanding respect and communications for the patients family. His reputation among the nurses and techs, and even the salesmen for home health equipment say 'he is the best'. A persons character matters.

Knee replacement gone bad
Dr. Siffri performed a total knee replacement on me in Mar 2023 using cemented in parts. My recovery was slow by all accounts, for after 6 months I could not hike more than a mile nor could not ride my bike for more than 30 mins. I came to him at 9 months with still little progress, he took an X-ray, said he saw no definite problems, that I needed more time. I asked for more tests to be run, took another X-ray after 30 days, no indications. I had to ask for CT scan and blood test for infection. Both came back negative in his eyes. Still no improvement. 11 months after surgery, last appointment, I said I would seek another opinion. The last thing he said to me is that is all he can do for me! I found a doctor in Mt. Pleasant who with his team of PAs and Nurse Practioner diagnosed my knee issues with a host of different tests (bone scan, allergy tests) and found that I had a reaction to the cement and it was loose. I had a knee revision in July and I am quickly recovering.

Excellent Doctor, very knowledgeable. My husband has had both knees replaced a year apart. Each surgery was a success and my husband did good each time, very little pain and a very quick recovery. Not satisfied with Home Health/therapy. Not consistent or professional about appointment. Never know there're coming unless you call. Then you still aren't given a time.

Dr Siffri is a very caring and professional physician . However, the nursing staff at Hillcrest Memorial hospital are HORRIBLE! My dog is treated better at the verts by a vet tech.

Dr. Siffri has repaired a meniscus and has done a total knee replacement for me. He is a no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is doctor. That is tempered with a phenomenal knowledge and skill in his area of expertise. I like having a doctor that doesn't jerk my chain or feel the necessity to press one into a sole surgical option. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

He is a doctor who I believe really cares about his patients. He had a very good bed side manner with me. He actually put my mind at ease. My mom was my chauffeur and she really liked him as well. The lady I talked to to explain the money I would have to pay. She was very very rude.i did not like the way she talked to me.

Very personable and explains what the problem is. Have had positive results with my shoulder problem. Also very punctual and have not had to wait long times like some other doctors.
