Dr. Peter Garas, MD

Dr. Garas treated a ruptured ligament in my thumb and my carpal tunnel in both hands. My scars are barely noticeable and my hands have healed beautifully. I can't imagine a better experience. He is incredibly skilled, compassionate and gentle (anyone in pain knows how important this is). I feel fortunate to have been under his care. His staff is fantastic too. He truly is a superb doctor who listens and cares about his patients comfort and care.

Dr Garas diagnosed Dupuytrens immediately. Having had it for 20+ years, I’ve been to 4 other orthopedic surgeons in Florida. They all wanted to do xiaflex & needle aponeurotomy which I did several times. Since I have severe symptoms, Dr Garas recommended surgery to remove the tissue in my little finger. I’m 10 weeks post surgery & just got released from occupational therapy. I trusted Dr Garas from the beginning & am very happy with the results. The therapists, Kellie & Linda F, were the best!

Dr. Peter Garars, talks to you not at you. He makes you feel so comfortable about your surgrey. He explains every step he is going to do. And if you don't understand he will stay with you, till you do. He is in no hurry to leave the room if you are not confident on what is about to happen. I would recommend him hands down for anyone that needs his expertise.
