Dr. Peter Passias, MD

Dr. Passias reviewed my X-rays and Imaging. He provided all the options that were available, to correct my Spinal Stenosis condition. He answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable and optimistic, that my condition would be rectified.

Dr. Passias is an excellent surgeon. Not only is he amazing as a surgeon, he is very caring person. His appointments are never rushed and he will explain everything as many times as you need so that you understand everything. I am very happy that I found him.

Dr.Passias is incredible and the NYSI is a Top Notch First Class organization. I have been a patient of his and have referred my sister to him, who as well is a patient of his. He takes the time to explain everything and address all concerns and actually goes over the MRI with you to show you what’s going on. I’m not a doctor but I’m not dumb either, I wanted to know and see what’s going on before a surgery he took the time to show me and explain what was going on and what he thought was the best path to improve my quality of life. His staff if top notch as well everyone in the organization is on point and makes what is a stressful situation as easy as it can possibly be made. I highly recommend you at least consult with him before you have any spine surgery.

Dr. Passias is a truly amazing doctor. He is kind and compassionate while being extremely knowledgeable and explains things in a very easy to understand manner. That combination of traits is very hard to come by and on top of the fact that he generally cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Passias for your orthopedic injuries.

Dr. Passias is the best spine surgeon anyone can find in all aspects, i.e., competent, skilled, concerned, compassionate, etc. Office staff is rude, uncaring, ignores you unless you interrupt them when they are talking to each other, etc. The have a new HR Manager who will work on improving their front office skills - I do hope she is successful so the staff can bring themselves up to Dr. Passias' standards.

I saw Dr passias since 2020 he is the best he did two major cervical fusion anterior posterior lamenectamy c3 to t1 and some other thing I can't remember but I am much better it's bin a yr but still healing still see him and his np Alexa the staff are great I also sees Dr aknook and Dr Gutman at new York spine and institute I will recommend anyone anytime to these Dr anytime
