Rude - Terrible 'Bedside' Manner
He was rude and did not allow input or questions. He was in the room for less than 5 minutes, before sending in his PA (whom is very nice). Will NEVER go back.

Awesome Doctor
I had my left knee replaced a month ago and I am feeling amazing. This is my fourth replacement (2 knees 2 hips), but the only one by Dr. Neubauer. It was the easiest recovery by far. Dr. Neubauer really listened and did everything he could to set me up for success! I highly recommend.

Arrogant
I took my 89 mother to see him for knee pain last year. I found him slightly arrogant at that time. His PA performed a series of 3 gel injections and they helped for a while. I took her back 6 months later for another series. She had a reaction(which can happen). When I took her in for the follow up he appeared extremely irritated and was very dismissive, condescending and arrogant. I’m not sure of his skills but his arrogance is disgraceful.

Arrogant
Dr Neubauer did not exam me at all. I knew I needed both knee replaced, but I feel he should have realized l needed hip replacement first. I always felt rushed. Now, my hip needs a replacement. He said, my weight is an issue. I know there are doctors that do surgery on over weight people. Shame on him for not recommending someone that will. Very disappointed with his attitude towards his patients. A friend also had knee replacement with him and is very sorry she ever went to him. Good doctors can be arrogant, but they should also examine a patient and know if it’s their hip or knee. A thorough doctor would have known that and asked more questions or watched me walk down the hallway. If they are that good at their job, they would have caught this.

It has been one year since I broke my right kneecap on Easter Sunday, 2019. Yesterday was Easter Sunday, 2020 and I am normal--100% Dr. Neubauer operated on my right kneecap on April 25, 2019 and then it was 16 weeks until I was out of the straight-leg brace. I will admit that Dr. Neubauer's rules of immobility drove me a little crazy because I do not like to sit still. But that is just me. I am now very thankful to God for giving Dr. Neubauer such talent for healing. Thank you God and Thank you Dr. Neubauer that I can walk again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Neubauer for over three years now. I had my right knee replaced by him after the arthroscopic procedure failed to yield any successful results. My resultant surgery was a total success. After three weeks I was virtually pain free. I was able to negotiate steps in a normal fashion. Being a pharmacist, and being on my feet for over 12 hours a day. It was paramount that my movement must be pain free and for me to have the flexibility that I enjoyed when I was younger and prior to my devastating knee injury. His surgical expertise combined with his medical experience gave me the favorable result that I enjoy to this day. His support staff of Laura and his physician assistant Kirstin also do a superb job of seeing to your each and every need.I am currently seeing Dr. Neubauer at the present time for an injury to my left knee. If and when I require another knee replacement the only orthopedic surgeon that I would trust with my care and health needs would be him.

I had my Hip Replacement last March and went back for my 1 year follow up. Everything about this medical procedure was wonderful. Dr. Neubauer was awesome, caring, competent and I can't say enough nice things about him. My experience at Mercy was really great too. I also want to say how his Assistants Laura and Kirstin and his surgical nurse (sorry I don't have my notes with me) were great too. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful experience. I feel great!

Dr. Nuebauer can only be described as arrogant, incompetent and indifferent. He replaced my hip and made my leg 3/4 inch longer. He then refused to order a scanogram to diagnose the size of Discrepancy. He never referred me to a Physical Therapist. and it goes on and on. The guy is a bum. I have a good doctor now.

I had a hip replacement at the end of February with Dr Neubauer at Mercy. I waited 4 months to write this so I could give a fair opinion, The surgery and experience have been nothing but wonderful. Mercy treated me fantastically. The facility is top notch and the care was outstanding, Dr Neubauer did a great job and was straight and to the point on what to expect and the outcome. I haven't felt this good in 6 years. Everything he told be was spot on and I am grateful
