Dr. Prabhat Soni, MD

The doctor recommends a battery of seemingly unnecessary and time consuming tests every single time - whose results he does not discuss with the patient. He makes assumptions about the patient’s condition based on race and gender and does not actually ask them about their symptoms or reasons for making the appointment unless the patient intervenes. He disregards prior diagnoses and undermines the patient’s experiences. Wait hours are long even when there don’t seem to be too many patients. While the staff are polite and helpful, there seem to regularly be severe delays and incompetence. The doctor clearly prioritises patients who show up for cosmetic procedures in front of patients who have made appointments for other reasons. It was a frustrating and actively uncomfortable experience over multiple sessions

I made an appointment for weight loss consultation. This place is a little bit out of the way for me but I wanted to give it a try. I was very pleased with my experience here staff was friendly and helpful answered any questions I had. The doctor was very friendly knowledgeable and seems like he genuinely cared. He ran a series of tests which I deem necessary unlike another review on here. It's good to be thorough so there aren't any variables when they start to treat you. As somebody who's worked in the animal medical field and who's working in research now. I know these diagnostic tools are necessary. At the end of appointment I ended up purchasing some pills for the weight loss program. I know honestly I can get these at the pharmacy for a fraction of the cost and the office manager kind of didn't want to call in a script for me for whatever reason. I heard about Dr. Soni's weight loss program from a friend of mine who lost a lot a weight. So I decided to try,I made an appointment, they called the day before to confirm. I had a really good experience, the staff was very friendly.

The doctor and his team are helpful and kind. I made an appointment for weight loss consultation. Although it was kind of far since i was coming for New Jersey but it was worth the time. I came in for an o-shot. Hoping for the best, 2nd day so far and I haven't had any problems yet. I do feel it's better than having surgery to fix my leaky bladder.

I was skeptical at first, but Dr. Soni made me believe again. I need to lose weight, but diet and exercise were not working for me at all. After taking a couple of tests, he diagnosed me with hyperthyroidism. He gave me life again. Now I am seeing the results, slowly, but surely. I was shocked, but boy am I relieved! I found this ad on Groupon for this Summer Slim membership. I got there 5 mins before closing time, but they let me in and honored/redeemed my coupon. I really need to get fit before summer hits. I can now lose weight the right way, with a medical professional; my membership starts Monday, cool beans..

I came into Dr. Soni practice because I was told by one of his field marketers that my insurance may cover certain medical specialties and this was right. I will continue to go to Dr. Soni, as long as I have my current insurance provider. I can't afford anything right now and to know that I can stay healthy and fit with a board-certified doctor that specializes in advanced obesity medicine is a blessing. Thank you, Dr. Soni

When the doctor explained my results, she made me feel very well informed. She explained my diagnosis, very simple and easy to understand. I would go again and again.

No one is taking care of you and even doctor is not available for hours even after an appointment.

Dr. Soni is very busy and he didn't check up properly and even my queries were unanswered. He is a complete waste of time and money. I do not recommend him.

Dr. Soni will not be pleased with my review about his practice but I have to be honest so others don't waste their time and money as I did. I would have experienced him if he has been on time of my appointment and after waiting for an hour, I decided to leave.

The staff of this clinic is very rude and they don't even know how to take care of a patient. They are always busy talking to each other and no one gonna listen you. You are just a piece of waste there, nothing more.

A complete waste of time and they charge more than every other clinic in the area. Staff is very unprofessional and rude.

I have been to his clinic even after my friend warned me but now that time couldn't come back and i can do nothing instead of regretting. Do not visit this doc if you are a busy person, because you are gonna wait for hours and there are only 10% chances that Dr. Soni will meet you.

I had a visit to Dr. Soni a few months ago, wanted to meet him regarding my knee pain and the receptionist asked me to wait and soon he will be here. I had been there for an hour but he didn't came and receptionist kept asking me to go for checkup with another doctor available in the clinic. She get to loud after after asking same thing few times but i had told her earlier that i am only here for Dr. Soni and not interested to go with other docs. Well, she started behaving so rude.

Doc is too rude with his patients and doesn't feel necessary to answer queries. No one cares about, will have to sit for hours there to wait for the doctor. I advise you to please look for other options, please don't put yourself into unprofessional hands.

I was in crisis. A serious fall found me in the ER for 4 gashes on my face. The deepest one above my eye (impossible to hide) required 8 stitches but the ER doctor assured me that it would only be a ?fine white line? over time. A friend referred me to Dr. Soni for what I expected to be a simple procedure of removing the stitches. But after careful study of the 4 gashes on my forehead, nose, cheek and chin, he warned me that these were all deep wounds and could turn black in sunlight over time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Soni over 3 years. On my most recent visit, I realized again why I continue to go to him: he is an exceptional diagnostician & he takes the time to explain things to me with care & clarity. The fact that he is a doctor with number of different medical specialties assures me he is not looking at my conditions thru one narrow medical “stovepipe”. I also like that he balances the latest Regenerative Medicine with clear advice on my weight, nutrition & high job stress.

Great Doctor! Very knowledgeable...truly on the cutting edge. I have been a patient for years, as has been my husband (who has a serious chronic respiratory condition) and my mother before us. Dr. Soni has kept us all in good health and I even lost 31 pounds on his weight loss program over the past year. I trust him unconditionally!!! His staff is also GREAT -- they are all professional, courteous, polite -- and they know what they are doing! LOVE him & them!
