Dr. Preeti Desai, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Desai for the past year and she has helped me tremendously. I have suffered for such a long time with my heart issues and could not get any relief. But Dr. Desai really took the time out to listen to me and helped me with my condition. I am feeling so much better now after Dr. Desai started treating me. The entire staff at healing hearts has been wonderful.

Dr, desai went fine. it was the teck doing the stress that was so rude. i am 84 and needed help getting on that skinny board thing they put you on. reached out to his arm like i always do, and he recoiled like i was a poisonous snake. if i can figure out how to send them i will show you my arm. it almost looks like i had a fight with him. he really acted like that was the last place he wanted to be. i would call it rude. last thurs., conroe office, around eleven.

Desai seems good, but my stress test appt keeps getting cancelled. Staff is rude and/or unresponsive. 1st appt was rescheduled when I called the day before to find out ins pre-qual wasn't done. Their benefits person said the ins hadn't responded, but it was never sent to my ins co. Had to wait several wks for another appt time. Left 3 messages with benefits adm; never received a call back. Right before my second appt got a call cancelling my appt bc the technician wasn't going to be there. No appt available till wks later. Just got a call that they have to reschedule, again, due to no technician. I called back & before I said anything, a lady answered the phone with a rude hello. I asked her her name and in a rude, almost inaudible tone said Ivanessa and I said, Hi Vanessa. She didn't say, my name is actually Ivanessa, she just kept rudely repeating Ivanessa. When I explained the issues I was having, she said just have the new dr send a request for your records. Bad attitude!

Dr. Desai is kind, empathetic and very reasonable. Listens to your concerns and offers management options to fit your needs. Didn’t take long to get in for a new patient appointment and I loved seeing a female physician. If you need a great cardiologist especially who has an interest in women’s heart conditions and preventative cardiology, I recommend Dr Desai.

Dr Desai has saved my life more than once. I can not thank her and her office staff enough for taking care of my health problems and being available when I needed them the most.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Desai! She has never not listened to me and any concern I have had. She is also so kind and patient. I do not know what I would do if I did not have her as my Cardiologist. Her staff is amazing as well. They always welcome me with smiles. I LOVE THEM ALL! My life is in their hands, and they treat me with such care!!! I can't imagine being any where else.

My father was brought in with a complex Bradycardia issue that was complicated by dementia. Dr. Desai based serious life altering treatment decisions on two visits in a 8 day period that lasted less than 5 minutes and contradicting reports from the ever changing list of nurses (with good intentions) who attended to him. When we attempted to clarify my father's progress (both neurological and heart related) she was condescending and clearly put out by our questions and down right rude to my mother. We decided to take our father him where he died peacefully. While Dr. Desai may not have been able to prevent this outcome, we were extremely disappointed by her lack of concern, attention and respect given to our family during this confusing and difficult time. Had she taken the time to correctly assess his issue we may have had other options in his care to prolong our time with him. I would not wish this doctor on any family in a life or death situation with a family member.

My family has been seeing Dr. Desai for 6yrs now. She truly is an exceptional doctor who is very patient with my dad and mom. Her staff is wonderful and answer all our questions. We feel blessed to have her as our cardiologist.
