Dr. Rachel Pearson, MD

One star is even too much for this Dr. Pearson. I had a loved one in the hospital and she almost caused their death as my family member was having adverse reactions to the medication she incorrectly prescribed and later increased due to the results of a test showing there was not enough of this medication in their system. She was on her way to causing the patient to have a heart attack. The family asked to speak with her about removing/changing the medication and she refused and did not show up. A nurse stated that if the family didn't want the patient to have the 2nd daily dose, then the family needed to be there to refuse the medication. And this the family did. Then when there was a change in doctors, the medication was switched out to another. In short, my family member did not have the illness she claimed and did not need this type of medication. This was later confirmed by a specialist that I took my loved one to that had the medication removed and my family member has been doing so much better without it. This Dr. Pearson should not be practicing as it is not evident that she is in her profession to save lives. Avoid this doctor at all costs!! Do not risk putting your life in her hands.
