Dr. Rachel Piechowiak, DO

I was treated with the GAE procedure for my knees. Google it, you'll be happy you did. Have bone on bone arthritis, with spurs. Very painful navigating stairs and sitting or standing, on a scale of 9 out of 10. Dr. Piechowiak and her team took time for a thorough initial consultation and were exemplary through the entire process. Near zero pain, save the initial momentary pinch of the catheter insertion.Several months later and expected residual pain from my severity of arthritis exists. No jabbing, just mild discomfort bending the knees, 1 maybe 2 out of 10. Got my life back!This procedure is repeatable, and a good longer term strategy vs knee replacement or cortisone or gel shot options. I highly recommend her and her team should you want to consider it.As for 'Goddess', yes, she really is that good!

Very professional, committed teamwork. Entire group came in through snow storm-very unusual. Everyone was professional and cared about their job and very patient focused. Dr Piechowiak was very communicative the entire procedure and so I had minimal questions. Courtesy, friendliness, and very professional.

The Telehealth call two weeks prior to my appointment Dr. Piechowiak outlined the procedure and thoroughly answered all my questions. On my appointment day, I found the office in immaculate condition and the doctor and staff were wonderful in every way, polite, courteous, efficient, and most important of all professional.

The front desk during check-in was very friendly. The nursing staff especially Chonta was very nice and friendly and made me feel at ease. Chonta did an excellent job with the checkout instructions and gave me a call the next day to see how I was feeling.Dr. Piechowiak was not rushed, very nice and friendly, and took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend her ( five stars.)

I had a PAE. Staff were very polite and efficient. Dr. P was as well. She answered all my questions and did so in a professional and respectful manner, not condescending as many doctors are. This is my second experience with Dr. P and her staff and I recommend them very, very highly.

The surgery was done with a minimum of discomfort. The wait time before pre op pre was reasonable. All staff were friendly, and willingly answered all my questions. I was encouraged to call if I had any further concerns once I was released.

Nurses were first class; attentive, informative, highly skilled and friendly. The Dr. and nurses explained the procedure in advance and everything went exactly as planned.

The entire experience, from the moment I walked in, was fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient, and Dr. Bagla was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to address all my questions and concerns. I left the clinic feeling confident in the care I received.

Dr. Piechowiak is very helpful in describing what to expect during and after the procedure. She has a friendly but professional personality - on the day of my procedure she seemed to be a good leader of her support team. My procedure went as she described and I seem to be recovering as she said I should expect.

Dr. Rachel Piechowiak was gracious and welcoming when I met her, but this was preceded by her extraordinary, joyful, and talented staff (all of them but especially Christina, Shante, and Jennifer) who made me feel I was at home. Prostate Centers Reston gave excellent service for my procedure. Dr P explained everything and did great work, the assistant Doctor was great as was all the staff ( Christina, Shanty, Emily, Paulina and Christian) Everything went smoothly from starting the IV through the procedure itself. You were made to feel welcome and at ease. Post op the nurse checked on you on a regular basis. I highly recommend this Office and its staff
