I can only say 'ditto' to all of the great reviews here. I've seen several doctors over the past 35 years, never finding an explanation nor solution for my pain. I too am 70 plus, and this appointment with Dr. Allende was the most professional and relaxed I've ever had. He spent an unbelievable amount of time explaining my MRI and understanding my symptoms. I believe his diagnosis and solution are spot on, and I hope to finally be out of pain soon.

Professional, knowledgeable, and human - staff was great and none of this sitting around forever waiting on stuff to happen. Back operation was successful and all I could hope for results

I'm 70 - of all the doctors, specialists, medical personnel I've dealt with in my lifetime, Dr. Allende (and his PA, Denise) have been by very, very far been the best professionals I've dealt with. They are both professional, kindly, thoughtful, inclusive, steadfast, followed up diligently (and often) and explained my complex issue in a way that I could readily understand and actively participate in. Through Dr. Allende and Denise's support, succor and guidance; and with their phenomenal expertise, I am alive today - and walking. Thank you both for being such amazing human beings.

Dr. Allende is an excellent physician. He is thorough in his evaluation, takes his time explaining and answering all your questions in a truly caring manner. He has helped me manage my lower back pain after suffering from chronic back pain for years. I hope not to need additional back surgery in the future but if I do, I would trust him completely to be the best!

I would rate DR ALLENDE as an EXCELLENT surgeon. He did my neck and lower back. He has a great bedside manner. If you ask a question he will explain it. He did follow up at the hospital and a week later, I saw his PA at the office. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Allende and his staff are very friendly and very caring. Dr. Allende takes his time with you, answers all your questions and makes sure you understand. He is a wonderful surgeon. He has done 3 different surgeries on me and each one has been a success. I have not had a better doctor or surgeon than Dr. Allende

Dr. Rafael Allende explained thoroughly all my options for care in a very detail and informative manner. He took the necessary time to answer all my concerns in reference to my medical condition. I must say that he was the most caring Doctor that I have ever spoke with. Having to make decisions about surgery is not an easy option, but his explanation of my condition and how to take care of it, helped tremendously to follow a care plan that hopefully will reduce my pain and alleviate my condition. Glad that I saw him. I recommend him to anybody who is having chronic pain to seek his guidance and expertise.

I was more than impressed I was blown away! From filling out the inclusive questionnaire and the first phone call to meeting the doctor everyone was above par! The doctor explained his thoughts openly and honestly. Thank you Dr. Allende!

as always, always amazing and listens. His assistant also is so very helpful. I’m so happy I found him after numerous doctors that have misdiagnosed me and mistreated me. I’ll never see anyone but him!!

While awaiting a knee replacement my hip began to hurt and my orthopedic doctor thought it might be coming from my spine. Dr. Allende read the MRI and x-ray and told me it was the pain coming from my knee, not the spine. I trust him completely as I know he will not operate unless he believes it is necessary. He did surgery on my spine eight years ago and I never had anymore pain.
