Would not recommend.
Initially provides a lot of hope for pain management but afterwards, I have seen a different provider every time. Have requested to talk with Dr. Bengali about long term treatment plan since the cortisone shots offer no long term solution. Impossible to confer with Dr. Bengali himself. Does not seem to be any long term treatment plan. Dr's are delinquent in sending pain medication prescriptions. Telephonically contact results in voicemail only with no return calls. Wish I could go to a different provider but have invested time, trust and energy with this pain clinic.

Staff is not mindful, is oblivious to your needs
Called the office 5 times to get a routine monthly refill on a pain prescription. They never responded to me or my pharmacy which sent the request. Weekend comes up — no pain pills. Will this medicine ever get refilled? How am I supposed to know? If you don’t mind this kind of thoughtlessness and disregard for patients’ well-being when it comes to the simplest, most routine medical office matter, then this is the place for you.

Lower back pain
I just finished lower back pain treatments. For the first time, in a long time, I can sleep in any position without pain or discomfort. Three injection sessions in L4. Very happy with my Pain Doc (how he is listed in my contacts). Side note, the young lady that checked me in each time was super nice.

After waiting for over a month (their scheduling) I recently had the first of three Epidural Steroid Injection (ESI) by Dr. Raheel Bengali (Tricity Pain Associates) He injected steroids at around my lumbar spine none of which was into the epidural space as promised, it was extremely painful and provided no relief whatsoever. Avoid this doctor and Tricity if you are seeking ESI pain relief! Albin K. Kerekes Retired Geoscientist

Great Doctor. Went above and beyond to explain everything that would be happening. Actually talks with you and not down to you. Feels like having a conversation with Dr. Bengali, which put me at ease when it came time for my injections. Highly recommend him.

I was having a lot of pain and Dr Bengali reviewed my MRI and CAT Scan spoke to me like a person and treated my systems and gave me suggestions of things to do to help eliminate my pain. Mainly he told me I did not need any more surgery. I feel better and am going through physical therapy to strengthen my muscles. I would recommend him to anyone who is having pain and would listen to me. He is GREAT.

Very good. Had pain injections in my lower back and nect hadn it really helped for about 3 months or so , going again to get my 2nd round of injections. Only took 30-40 seconds for injections without any meds to put me to sleep. I did without it and only pinched for a quick 30-40 seconds. Highly recomment it if you are in pain.

I’ve been a pt since he came to S.A.He was amazing. He said he had tricks up his sleeve other drs didn’t have because of his training. I was treated well until my ins was canceled. I still saw him as a private pay but I held off on procedures until I got new ins. It took 8months and during that time he lost interest. My last visit was less than 1 min. My husband timed it. He came in told his assistant what script to write and he was gone. If you need procedures & ins is paying, he’s your man.

I had 5 discs that were herniated from and van hitting me from behind at a red light. I was in pain like I’ve never felt in my life. Being that I was healthy all my life I was very hesitant to explore treatment with drs. I am man in my early 40s and rarely had to see a dr since I was a child. After me and my wife met Dr Bengali, we were more comfortable with him giving us treatment. I took the epidural shots without being sedated. Dr Bengali thank you! This guy is he absolute best.

Takes the time to speak with his patients and review all procedures . Dosen't rush to get you out . Very courteous . Some of the office staff is not at all courteous. Sylvia the medical assistant is very disrespectful and does not explain in detail as it should be what you are signing. All she states is sign here and here! In this profession patients and family should be treated with the upmost respect . This individual has a lack of professionalism. John however is awesome! Very caring!

I cant say enough about how excellent Dr. Bengali is in every area. He is intelligent, extremely well-trained, experienced, and stays up-to-date on what’s going on in the pain management world. He listens—really listens! He pays attention and has great eye contact, asks questions, gives input, and comes up with a plan! He cares about his patients. He and his staff are extremely efficient, which means your wait won’t be long. My pain level has been greatly reduced and I am so thankful!
