I am very disappointed - no I am angry with this doctor's office and lack of professionalism. I was supposed to receive a phone call for a phone appointment. I am in Minnesota for two months and I'm in a lot of pain. The office said they called, but they lied. I received no phone call and no message, even though they said they called three times and left messages. When I called the office, I was treated poorly. When I threatened to tell the truth about this poorly run office, the office manager said that is a threat and would warrant her calling the police on me. They offered an appointment with the doctor's assistant, but I rejected that as I was expecting an appointment with Dr. Gulati. This is not the first time I've been unhappy with this office. The office is poorly run. Although I like Dr. Gulati, I DO NOT LIKE HER OFFICE.

Dr. Gulati is good but staff doesn’t respond
Dr. Gulati is good but the office doesn’t call in scripts, send records or respond to messages to schedule appointments. The lack of care and follow up by the office staff makes it impossible to properly treat important conditions

Important scripts left not called in for 3 weeks despite multiple calls/faxes from pharmacy and myself, scheduled appt w PA vs MD without informing me - found out over recording when confirming my appt, never seem to be able to find fmla paperwork faxed creating need for multiple extensions and then doc is out of town for a month, too bad I guess, long wait times just to schedule on phone, takes forever to pick up, complete disorganization over and over again - it seems everytime I need something I dread asking as I know it’s goin to be a huge hassle. Sam the MA is good - other than that just really frustrating experience continually.

Dr. Gulati is polite and takes her time but to diagnose and treat autoimmune disorders you need pragmatism and creativity - to me she appeared to have neither...recommended basic treatment, assumed the best medications were beyond my financial reach, didn't run the basic tests that should have been ordered. I moved to a new doc.

Dr. Gulati is extremely rushed in her initial appointments, often scheduling follow-ups in short intervals without providing any care in-between. She overbooks constantly, and you will lose appointment time with her as she rushes to try and meet with too many patients a day.

I went to another Rhumatologist for years, but he seemed to get tp busy to really listen or spend time with his patients any more. Dr. Gulati was recommended to me. At first I was not impressed at all. The staff was horrible about calling in refills and every visit with her I felt was a waste as she never did anything for me. Finally she did. It involved a lot of phone calls and authorizations but they stayed on top of it. Yesterday I looked at my portal and read all of her notes. She REALLY LISTENED. She had her reasons for not making any changes. I was getting over Valley Fever. She was doing everything RIGHT. I will say she always spent time with me and was always very compasionate. I won't be changing.

She's been my doctor for 2 years now, and I feel she is thorough, and compassionate. Her office staff is competent, even though a few of them are indifferent. While not pleasant to be around, they do get the job done.

Prior to visiting with Dr. Gulati, I was warned to see a different Doctor. I should have listened to my friend. I found my time was totally wasted. Gulati wants to prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs to everyone without understanding the patient's symptoms. Upon my 2nd visit, she remarked on a subject and made information up to conceal her ignorance. If you are looking for a Rheumatologist, stay away from Dr. Gulati.
