El De Valderram
The place is clean and pleasant, the staff in general very friendly, they gave me a quick appointment, Dr. Valderrama is a very warm and humane person who was able to explain all my health problems to me and I have improved since I met him since I had brain surgery that has caused me a lot of health problems and with the early diagnosis of several diseases my life has improved a lot.

My mom was referred by her PCP. He couldn’t be any more thorough, and caring. He put my mom at ease with his great humor. Anyone looking for a Dr to check for early onset dementia shouldn’t hesitate.

Funny how I thought I was going to be the only person to say "Dr. Valderrama saved my life." I was not. With the persistence of a seasoned detective, Dr. Valderrama requested test after test until he discovered the reason I had a stoke and a number of TIAs or mini strokes — a hole between the chambers of my heart. It's no exaggeration — Dr. Valderrama is a lifesaver. Jared McCallister, Brooklyn N.Y. 1/26/2010

Dr. Valderrama helped save my life! I went to Dr. Valderrama after close to a month of dealing with chronic neck pain and radiating headaches. I was at my wits end feeling hopeless not getting any type of insight into what was going on with me. By the time I had set up my appointment with him, I had visited a total of 6 doctors and had even been sent home from the ER with just "stress headaches". The fact that I was a healthy 34 yr old male with no prior health issues was very concerning to Dr. Valderrama and he was determined to get the bottom of it. His approach to patients had been like no other Dr. I had dealt with before, he was a HUMAN working with HUMANS. He assured me we would get to the bottom of what was taking place, and after a series of tests sure enough he found what so many had overlooked... my neck pains were caused by Vertebral Artery Dissections, and my "stress headaches" were actually 3 Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA's) aka STROKES. It was nothing short of a miracle

I went to Dr Valderrama due to unknown issues which had sent me to emergency room twice. I’m also a migraine sufferer. I found Dr Valderrama to be very much an “old school”. He’s personable, thorough, really takes time to explain things and most importantly, he listens. He told me to keep him updated regarding the episodes/ attacks I was having. Even when I called the office to give only an update and didn’t even request a call back, he always called me to personally check in with me. His staff is the best I’ve come across in too many years to count. They are not only friendly, but always make sure to pass along my messages. They also are extremely efficient in contacting me about everything related to my care.

I’m a professional patient. I’ve been in need of medical attention since birth. I’ve found that most don’t listen or take the time. Dr. Valderrama isn’t one of those doctors. He’s patient, he’s observant, caring, and knowledgeable.

BEST doctor I have ever been to. I had seen many doctors for my condition prior to seeing Dr. Valderrama and no one was able to identify what I had. Dr. Valderrama was the only doctor that took the time to listen to me and to study my symptoms. He did not stop searching until he got to the correct diagnosis and treatment. Extremely caring doctor and always willing to talk on the phone when I had any questions. His staff always very willing to help me and accommodate appointments/calls to my schedule. I highly recommend Dr. V!

Reception staff needs better bedside manners. Dr. Valderama is nice and friendly but runs late. Doctor said he was going to have the reception staff connect with my other doctors to discuss approval of tests and that did not happen. Additionally, communication lacks with describing tests and procedures received in office. The physical office is not modern and at times feels dirty because of this.

I was recommended to treat my health condition with Dr. Ramon Valderrama. When I was in front of the medical specialist, his kindness and sympathy made me forget the formality that should exist between doctor-patient. His interest in my health was sincere and direct in his conclusions. Consulting it is like taking a painkiller that makes the pain and discomfort disappear with your attention.
