Hernia repair surgery
I had hernia repair surgery with Dr. Randal Zhou in November. When we first met I was impressed with Dr. Zhou’s calm and capable manner. We discussed his plan for surgery and he was forthright about options and outcomes. He thought he could do the entire repair robotically, but since I had a very large incisional hernia there was the possibility that part of the operation would be open surgery. When we talked after surgery Dr. Zhou said that the surgery went well and it was all done robotically. I was thrilled since my recovery would be easier. My pain level was quite manageable and I am right where Dr. Zhou said I would be at 6 weeks. A few weeks after surgery I went for a follow up with Dr. Zhou. I was pleased with how much time he gave me. As I left his office I talked with one of his staff members and said how happy I was with Dr. Zhou. She said, “We are lucky to have him! He’s nice, kind and BRILLIANT.” I agree with her!

Would highly recommend Dr Zhou
I am so grateful for Dr. Zhou. I had been to three doctors prior to seeing Dr Zhou and none of them could figure out why I was having so much pain. I saw Dr Zhou and he studied my chart and said he wanted to send me for one more test. That one test found the source of my pain. I am now able to adjust my lifestyle and control my pain. He took the time to listen to me and research and it lead to a positive outcome.

The worse Dr I have ever had to deal with. He walks into the exam room telling me that I have hiatal hernia that was the size of a orange when in fact I DID NOT HAVE A HIATAL HERNIA then admits to me that he must have been looking in another patients chart when I start to question him about the diagnosis. He also discriminates against anyone who smokes.
