Never got to see the Doc. He never answered emails after I got a referral. What doctor will only communicate via emails???

I’m currently under Dr. Turner’s care as an outpatient, and like him very much. He’s easy to talk to, listens with genuine concern and put me on a new medication which has really helped me. The only reason I don’t give him 5 stars is that he’s affiliated with Newport Bay Hospital, which as other reviewers have said, is a nightmare.

Newport Bay was a nightmare. Kept my father high on drugs and tied to a wheelchair. This place caused our family such distress trying to get my dad out. I hope this place shuts down one day.

He kept my elderly mother for the time medicare would pay and would not discharge her. She has dementia and his treatment consisted of drugging her 4 x's the amount the drug company says. ( I read the records.) She ended up with a deep vein thrombosis from lack of movement and it took 5-6 weeks to get her off the drugs. She slept most of that time. She never really recovered and was not helped in any way- only made worse.Do not put a loved one in his hospital- Newport Bay Hospital.
